Vanessa Rookery

The woman scowled as she pulled Anna along, with a rope cord soaked in mince garlic juice for hours to subdue her. "Strong words from a monster itself."

"Who are you!? Why are you doing this?" The purplette hissed, "This is a monster friendly hotel, where they co-exists with humans!"

The lady waved a flippant hand, "A tragedy for sure. I rather monologue once, so let's wait for your brothers to arrive, shall we?"

"Anna!"

"Speak of the bloodsucking devils."

Gregory snarled, as he and Rudolph touched down to the ground. "Let go of our sister, you wench!"

"Oh my, yes now that you said that, I absolutely must do that." The woman drawled, "Do you take me for a fool?"

Rudolph glared at the woman, "Seeing as you attempted to kidnap our sister, a vampire, with a hotel of monster allies nearby I would have to say yes, yes I do take you for a fool." he quipped, "But seeing as it's also a monster-human coexisting hotel, you have the chance to rethink your life choices and return our sister to us, and we part peacefully."

"Now you're an even bigger fool," The woman chortled, shaking her head. "for assuming that I willingly infiltrated enemy territory unprepared. I may be avenging my grandfather, but not all my tricks are as limiting as his."

Gregory raised a brow, "Your grandfather? What does an old mortal have to do with this?" he asked.

"Allow me to give you a hint, then." The woman smirked, "I am Vanessa Rookery."

Anna gasped, with Gregory and Rudolph looking equally horrified.

"Shit!" Rudolph grumbled, using the phrase humans usually uttered in those movies he and Tony would watch together. "That man shouldn't be allowed to copulate!"

"Indeed, looks alone should be reasons enough for that."

Anna couldn't help but giggle at the taunt Gregory made, despite the situation. Vanessa snarled at that remark, before taking a breath and started chanting an eerie incantation, and the amulet from necklace around her neck started floating from where it was hidden under her shirt.

It was no simple pendant though... It was half of the other half from the stone of Attamon!

Before Rudolph and Gregory could figure out a way to rescue Anna and get the amulet, the ground started to erupt. The vampires yelped, going unsteady. They started hovering to keep from falling. In the next moment, shadowesque creatures, appearing incorporeal stood around her. Anna widened her eyes, panicked at the sight and tried to struggle away from the crazy lady once more, which Vanessa only laughed at. She's relish killing her first, but she would find it more satisfying taking out the whole family she sets on killing with one shot.

"Welcome demons from the underworld, bloodsuckers. Or perhaps, silhouettes of them if you will." Vanessa sneered, just as Mavis and Dracula finally came up behind the Sackville-bagg brothers. "I figured it would only be fitting that you get well acquainted with your companions in, what would be, your future home as well."

Gregory growled, realizing what she planned to do to his entire family.

"I think we're fine just where we are, madam." Rudolph said, in sarcastic benevolence. "So take your real estate offers elsewhere."

Vanessa cackled at the display of arrogance, "Oh, you, the little vampire, I presume, who pestered my grandfather the most with your little human friend." she leered at the young vampire. "I'm going to send your family to hell, but you... Well, I'll enjoy killing you myself... Immensely."

Rudolph glared at her. Ever since the discovery of their Zings, and the event leading up to Tony's triggered heat, they couldn't catch a break with unexpected incidents. First, virus zombies managed to break into the hotel. Then, two of those zombies were the Thompsons, who he hoped would be his in-laws in the near or far future. Now Anna was in the clutches of another crazy vampire hunter, or huntress, in this case.

And that wasn't even the worse part.

The worse part was who the granddaughter out on a vengeance scheme is; Vanessa Rookery.

"Oh no you don't," Gregory growled protectively as he stood in front of his brother. "Just you try it, wench!"

"Gladly."

The woman snapped her fingers, and the demons lunged at the vampires. The brothers flew high, and the Draculas took the front lines and used their powers to petrify them. Unlike before though, where they had to snap it to release them from being petrified, it took about ten seconds before the demons were able to break from the trance spell. For a moment, the Draculas were captured, Rudolph and Gregory fretted about what they could do to help. But the two just transformed into bats and flew up to meet them.

"We need to retreat for the mean time!" Dracula declared, "There's no telling how to combat those things if they can easily nullify the effects of our spell!"

Rudolph grimaced at that statement, "But we can't just leave Anna!"

At that moment, the demons started climbing on top of each other to try and reach them. The time to make a choice was getting shorter. Just when Gregory was going to resign to the fact that they had to retreat and come back for Anna later, a large creature with two humans on top of it ran in and bowled down the tower of demons trying to reach the overhead vampires and bats.

It was Tinkles with Tony and Johnny.

"Uh," Tony blinked, staring at the dark things they just knocked down and noticed Rudolph and the others overhead. "What's the situation here, guys?"

"Er, I don't think now's the time for twenty questions here, little dude."

Caught off guard with the sudden appearance of reinforcements, Vanessa was distracted and didn't notice somebody else rushing up to them in great speed until she got bowled down herself as Anna was scooped up and taken away from the site. It was too fast for the naked eye to register completely. Fortunately for Gregory and the others, they were supernatural beings.

"Adam."

"I take it that now's our cue to leave!" Rudolph flew down, so he was hovering near the giant puppy, a redhead, and his mate. "Let's fall back now guys!" He said, offering his hand.

Tony had questions about the situation though, but he figured it was more important that they managed to rescue Anna and that no one else gets captured. He takes Rudolph's hand and they fly off, so with the lesser weight it helped Tinkles run faster with only Johnny on top of him and he didn't have to be too careful in making sure two riders didn't fall off him.

Vanessa grumbled, getting on her feet as she watched their retreat. If they thought that this a little setback was going to get her to give up, they were about to be sorely mistaken.
