Broken From Love

My first love was love at first sight.
All it took was one look.
Then came the feelings in my heart that I couldn't fight.
When I looked, she looked back.
What I felt, she felt back.
But as I kept on looking, she did not.
As I kept on feeling, she did not.
I was not good enough to look at.
I was not good enough to feel for.
It made my heart ache to know that,
I was just someone to be ignored.
Then came another.
Who took my heart,
Just like the other.
But again, it was not meant to be.
I loved her,
But she did not feel the same love for me.
I did not deserve her love.
I was painfully reminded of the fact that
I was not good enough for her love.
Not even good enough to be looked at.
I then met a girl
Who I didn't think I'd for.
But as soon as I got to know her,
She became the one I fell hard for.
I thought she was the one.
I thought we were meant to be.
Our love outshone even the sun.
With her I was finally, truly happy.
Then the fairy tale came to an end.
I was heartbroken beyond repair.
Everything came crumbling down when,
I was reminded that life is unfair.
She left me for another guy.
Her love for me disappeared,
And I had no clue why.
Then everything became clear.
I didn't deserve to be with anyone.
I was nobody,
Only deserving to be with no one.
But in the middle of my darkness of a depression,
A light had shone.
A brilliant light.
I wasn't alone.
That light was my friend.
And that friend told me,
They'd always be there to help me when,
I was broken.

Alright so that was my first poem.
That was something that just recently happened to me and I was really depressed and pretty much broken before my friend helped me out. I'm really grateful for her. She's done so much for me. If anyone's got a friend like that then comment and tell me about it. I will also answer any personal questions you have for me. Make sure to vote and tell your friends about how AWESOME this poem is.
