A friend you couldn't replace.
Unlike anyone else,
She's not just a pretty face.
With her inner beauty as great as her outer,
After you meet her,
You couldn't dream of living without her.
And although you may not think of-yourself in this way,
Being with you can temporarily take all-
the pain and heartache away.
I could be crying in a corner.
Drowning in despair.
But that grief would completely disappear,
As long as your there.
Such a friend
People spend lifetimes searching for.
But my search came to an end
After I found you, and you changed my life.
With your personality being a beautiful-shining light.
Using that light you saved me from all of- my dark times,
Finding the real person within me,
That I couldn't even find.
I never knew that the word friend could-mean something so strong and true.
But that view on a friend completely-changed,
When I had the privilege of meeting you.

Alright so this poem is dedicated to the best friend I've ever had. I gave it to her for her birthday and she allowed me to post it.
