Chapter 12

Third Person's POV

Three days later, Yoko is still unconscious. Her cousins did not leave her side for three days, even Sun Yihan who supposed to have left the country and return in China.

Marissa did not let go of Yoko's hand, and stayed asleep beside her.

Becky is getting worried for her little sister, but she couldn't even persuade her to rest in her royal room.

"I shouldn't have force the king to punish Faye." Yihan sighed, "it's not your fault, clearly it's Khun Faye's." Becky said.

Then a sudden knock echoed in the room, they saw it was Duchess Ci. "Greetings to crown princess Marissa, and greetings to crown princess Wei and to princess Becky." Rutricha greeted them one by one.

"你为什么在这? (Why are you here)" Yihan asked, "我只是想看看我妹妹是否还好，殿下 (I just wanted to check if my little sister is okay, your highness.)" Rutricha said, and saw Yoko on the bed, sleeping so soundly while the oxygen support her breathing.

"潮公爵让你来这里是想看看她是不是快死了吗？如果是的话，告诉潮公爵，我愿意倾家荡产，只为救我堂妹 (Did duke Chao sent you here to check if she's dying? If so, tell to duke Chao that I will waste my wealth on everything just to save my cousin)" Sun Yihan is dead serious about it.

"我父亲不知道我来这里是为了看望我妹妹, (Father does not know that I came here to visit my little sister)" Rutricha said, and so suddenly, the room was filled in silence.

Then suddenly, Faye came and enter. They stayed calm even though Sun Yihan felt angry at her.

"What are you doing here?" Becky asked, "I was just going to check if Yoko is awake." Faye said, her voice seems like cracking.

"You should be happy, she's now been punished because of you!" Sun Yihan tried to control herself.

Marissa opened her eyes, and saw Faye. She suddenly became angry and approach Faye to slap her face.

"How dare you come in here!! It's been three days and you just now think of visiting my cousin!!!" She was so angry that she even shouted, "Marissa! Yoko is sleeping, let's not disturb her!!" Becky calm her little sister down.

"Khun Faye, what do you want?" Becky asked, "I just wanted to apologize... And thank Yoko."

"Oh you shouldn't do that!!" Marissa still tried to create a scene, but Yihan, Becky and Rutricha stopped her.

"Let's go out." Rutricha said, and they all thought it was a good idea. They bring Marissa outside and Rutricha closed the door.

Faye was left with the cold room, filled with emptiness and nothing. Seeing Yoko in such state makes her feel even more guilty.

She approached Yoko, she saw that she's wearing their wedding ring even no wedding happened.

She took the other golden ring in Yoko's finger, and then put it in her third finger. "You foolish kid, you should've just let me take the king's punishment." Faye said.

Flashback

When Faye was only 12 years old, Yoko is a six years old kid, both of them are very close to each other. Faye sees Yoko as her little sister, she loves to play hide and seek with Yoko, catch the prey, and sometimes, Faye teaches Yoko how to answer her Mathematics.

"P'Faye, when you grow up, what do you want to be?" Yoko asked, while reading a Chinese historical book, "I wanted to be an architect, and I will make houses, be a businesswoman and more." Faye said, with a smile.

"Wow! That's cool, I wanted to make my family proud!!" Yoko said, and Faye smiled widely, "they will be proud of you, no need to worry." Faye said,

"Of course, I will make sure they'll be proud of me!"

End of flashback

Faye continue to look at the pale face, "I don't know why your family hates you that much," she said.

Faye's phone suddenly vibrates in her pocket, she took it out and saw that her little sister, Freen, was calling.

"Hello?"

"Faye, I got Yoko's royal bodyguard's name." Freen said, "who is it?"

"She is a Chinese, appointed by the Chinese crown princess, she was married to duchess Wang Xiaojia. Her name is Jiang Yun, a young Colonel." Freen said, and Faye was a bit surprised.

She remembered that she saw Jiang Yun the day the shooting incident happened weeks ago.

"Okay, I think I know already who she is. Thanks Freen." Faye turn off the phone, and was about to leave, but she stopped when she looked back.

She saw that Yoko is holding her hand.

"Please... Please don't leave me." Yoko uttered in a weak voice, Faye was even more shocked.

Her heart beats so fast than a normal heart beat.

"What.... What is this? Am I having a heart attack?" She asked herself.
