Chapter 20

It was so fast when time has passed by already. They came back to their old set up, which Yoko stays at home, sometimes taking care of their other businesses, while Faye........ Well, she never comes home.

She is wasting her time in her office which she would just write, sign documents, entertain guests, have meetings, sometimes, go to the palace to finish the renovation of the Red Roses Garden.

So Yoko was totally left all alone in their mansion. But it doesn't bother Yoko, she was used to it.

Actually, she was preparing everything. Her will and last testament, keys that contains secrets, the other clothes which she hid in the box, the room, which she cleaned already.

She just smiled, knowing she was prepared for the upcoming disaster, as she played a classical music, which was Idea 22.

She then dialed Jiang Yun's phone number, and when Jiang Yun answered, she say, "Let's get started... I don't want to waste more time."

"Your highness, I'm sure you can still take it back." Jiang Yun said, "I'm fine. Besides, I'm all ready. This is the only way to protect my family, especially my wife. Set a trap for the Malisorns, I'll show Faye how bad I am." She said, and got silent, "yes, madam." Jiang Yun answered, and Yoko put the phone down.

Indicating that she already hung up the call, tears was falling in her eyes, and all she can do is smile.

Yoko then prepared letters, hid it in a box that has a lock, then left the key in the drawer, with tags in it.

Jiang Yun was waiting in the location spot, she brought others with her. They waited for the Malisorns car to arrived.

"Prepare for an attack, make sure, you'll never kill them." Jiang Yun said, and the others agreed to her.

"Oh my gosh, this is really crazy! Why are we riding one car??? Can't father just call us?!!" Freen protested, "come on guys, this is a family bonding. Faye's birthday is coming, and we should bond!" Som said, and they all shook their heads.

"We're too busy for this!"

"Why? Are you born busy? Your mother bore you not to be busy!!" Som also protested.

But so suddenly, a car just hit their car. Everything turned into black.

A few moments, Faye got a call. It was Lux, she immediately answered it and say, "Hello?"

"Faye, long time no see. I was just thinking... If we could, ahm... Meet?" She said, and Faye immediately agree to her.

A few minutes, Faye have arrived in the said location and saw Lux. She enter the cafe and approached her, "Lux, why did you call me?"

"Faye, I know that this is not the right time to call you, but I really need your help." She said, and they both sat down in the chairs. Faye was also worried, "what is it? What's wrong?"

"Well, the company I had got bankrupt. And Yoko don't want to lend me an investment." Lux said, "no, no worries. I'll talk to Yoko, I'm sure she'll agree with me." Faye said, and Lux smiled.

"Thank you for helping me out."

Faye suddenly got a text message, which made her to be in shock.

Faye went in the hospital with Lux, and she immediately go to the said location room of her siblings and father, when she entered, they're all sleeping, bruises and no serious injuries.

Jiang Yun was there, was investigating. "What happened?" Faye asked, as tears fall down in her eyes.

"An unknown vehicle crash your father's. But we have identified the plate, the plate belongs to a businesswoman called Karik." She said, and Faye continues to cry.

"Faye, don't worry, they'll be fine." Lux said, and Faye suddenly embraces Lux and cry on her.

Jiang Yun looked at Lux, with seriousness in her face and Lux seems like already knew what her face meant was. Lux looked at Faye, "hey, hey, don't cry. It's okay." Lux assured her.

"Will both of you stop? The media is outside and the royals will come here in no time, better pay respect to the real wife here." Jiang Yun rolled her eyes in disgust and left the both of them.

Even though Lux is in royalty, Jiang Yun never cares a lot for them, for the only person she care in their country is Yoko, who is an important figure to her job and in her life.

"Don't listen to her, but, I assure you, they're just fine. Seeing from their bruises, they'll wake up later." Lux said, and Faye nodded.

Som opens her eyes, "F-Faye?"

Faye panicked, "Father?"

Som sat down and say, "I'm fine, no need to worry."

"Father, who is Karik?" Faye asked, and Som gulped, "well, she was one of the most powerful businesswoman here in our country, why?" Som asked.

"It's clear to me that she wants you dead, tell me, what is she aside from being a businesswoman?" Faye asked.

"Oh, I remember now... She is the daughter of the Baroness." Lux said, "Baroness?"

"Karik was our long distant relative, from Mongolian and Arab clan, who's also a half Thai," Lux explained, and Faye was even more confused.

"What?"

"Karik must've mistaken our car," Som said, "Oh jeez, I have to find Karik myself." Faye said, but Lux stopped her.

"Well, don't! Throughout the years, father have told us to leave Karik alone. Because Karil was indeed a threat." Lux said, and Faye was really confused.
