Lila POV
"Finally im back home" I say as I pull up to my driveway. Work was more stressful than usual but at least I can rest easy tonight knowing I'm back home. It was 7:30 pm, it wasn't too late for me but with how this day has been going it certainly took a lot.
"Mom, mom" My son Skid called out to me from Y/N's house
He and Pump approached me with Y/N slowly trailing behind them
"I really am thankful to him for today" I thought to myself before looking down at my son
"So sweetie, how was today?" I asked my son
"It was great mom, Y/N had all this cool stuff like a bag you punch and weird looking gloves, and after we played a bit we watched a movie" Skid replied enthusiasticly
"Well I'm glad you had fun" I replied smiling
"Y/N can you take me home" Pump said to Y/N
"Sure thing Pump, I'll just bring him home Lila" Y/N told me with a smile
"Don't worry go ahead" I replied too with a smile
TIMESKIP
When we got home me and Skid ate dinner that I cooked, it was spaghetti with meatballs and a bit of leftovers from the night before. It wasn't anything special but we both enjoyed it and it was a good break from the lunches I was eating whenever I'm at work. After doing this, I tucked Skid into bed and I went back down to the living room to relax a bit and also do a bit of work. While I was doing this I heard a knock at the door, I checked the time and it was 9:30 pm already, cursing a bit of profanities i reluctantly open the door only to see Y/N standing opposite from me.
"Oh Y/N, it's pretty late, why are you here?" I asked him
"Well in all honesty, I wanted to know how you are doing, you seem super stressed" he replied to me
"Well I'm doing fine Y/N, thank you for asking" I replied
"I'm also guessing you are here for the money?" I teased him about that
"N-no, I'm actually not so don't worry, I like taking care of the kids, it's a good change of pace from what I usually do so I don't mind doing it for free" he replied shyly
"Oh I see" I said
"Also I almost forgot, I might not be here tomorrow because of training" he said
"Really, what are you training for?" I asked curiously
"I have a boxing match coming up so I really have to train for it" He said to me
"Ooh boxing, thats new to me" i said surprised
"Yeah that's the main reason I came here, it's closer to the gym and it's a nice environment as well" he replied
"Nice shirt by the way" he pointed
I looked at my own shirt and j saw that I was wearing my "look me in the eyes" shirt and purple shorts. I tried to cover up because it was a bit embarrassing to be seen like this
"Don't worry about it, it's nice looking as well, it compliments your style" he said
I felt my cheeks heat up a bit but I ignored it.
"It's getting pretty late so I have to go now, it's nice talking to you Lila" Y/N said turning his back to me
"Wait!" I said to get his attention
I grabbed a small piece of paper and wrote my number down
"Here so we can message each other" I handed it to him
His cheeks turn a bright shade of pink, he tried to cover it but I already saw it. J also felt my cheeks heat up a bit too
"T-Thank you Lila, I have to go now, goodnight" he said speeding back to his house
"G-goodnight po Y/N" I replied back closing my door and proceeded to go upstairs
"I can't believe I just did that" i thought to myself before going to bed still feeling my cheeks warm.
