Part 1

As she watched the calendar, taking note of the fact that she has 1 month.....30 days of free-dom. Anna sighs all she has known is this pack, the White moon pack. Her parents moved to the packed when she was just a child because of the outbreak of war rising in other territories Yes, she is grateful for a home but at what cost.....her life.

"Everyone emergency meeting at the hall now" she hears through the mind link; she takes one look at the circled date with the words wedding written inside of it. A mixture of feelings washes over her, sadness but mostly anger, before she could dwell in her thoughts her sister Len came into her room without knocking as she usually does.

"We have to go know, almost everyone is there" she said grabbing her arm pulling her away from her thoughts.

"what is the meeting about?" Anna asks her sister hoping for some information, it was unusual for Alpa Matthew to call a meeting, unlike most packs we are well organized and on a schedule. Anna hated schedules; she wanted to be free to not be worried about doing minor tasks on time or taking on duties not hers to be dealt with.

"I have no idea but we are about to find out" Just when Len says that she notices they are at the town hall, the space is full of everyone from the pack expect those on patrol, as they walk in a path is cleared for them to walk through straight to the front next to Apla Matthew, Luna Bella and their son James, she just then notices her parents standing next to them.

"I called this meeting because we have a great opportunity that will allow everyone to enhance their combat skills" he says his voice holding authority and power, " A well-known, fighter from the royal palace has offered to assist us with training...his name is Quin" Has he finishes his sentence my eyes spot a large figure walking towards the Alpha but I cannot see his face with the robe over his head.

Has he reaches next to the Alpha, you can see a difference in their build. Alphas are the strongest of the werewolf's kind but as Quin stands next to him. Quin is taller, his shoulders wide, even with the hood covering him you can still see his muscular body under it.

He takes off his hood and for a moment she stops breathing, his icy cold eyes meeting hers. As Alpha kept talking, their eyes did not waver, something was pulling them together. Daring them to say something. As Anna analysis his face, she notices the scar from his top pink lip trailing down to his bottom lip then down his face has it disappears under his clothes.

She felt the need to know where it ends. Her fingers tingled wanting to trace it, Quin saw how her eyes scan his body and the scar, but he could care less because he was content with his view. Her light brown eyes, not an imperfection in place.

"Everyone has an hour to be dressed and meet in the field, lateness will not be tolerated. You are dismissed" Alpha says snaping both Quin and Anna out of their staring. Quin finally takes a deep breath to allow oxygen back into her lung.

As she turns to leave, Luna stops her "hold on a minute" she says making Anna turn around while her family leaves, "since you will be the Luna taking over very soon, you need to greet everyone that passes in and out of the pack so they can get familiarized with seeing you" she says softly, Luna has always been soft spoken and kind.....Anna looked up to her greatly as a child growing up thinking of her as another mother.

"and this is Anna, she is to be the next luna" Alpha moves towards them with Quin by his side, Luna steps to the side of Anna allowing her to see them fully. James came by her side placing his hand around his as he would, and automatically a smile but placed on Anna's face.

It had been 2 months since she was told that she would be marrying him, because she is the best person fit to become queen, ever since then she held a resentment towards them all.

She has no say in the matter, she knew James since she was little but she did not have romantic feelings for him at all...the thing that pissed Anna off about this while agreement between the families is that James agreed whole heartly without even talking to her, almost as if she did not have a matter in who and how she spends the rest of her life.

"Anna" James said bring her out of her thoughts, "I am Anna, it is a pleasure to meet. The pack is delighted to have you training us" Anna said with a smile and the fake voice she usually uses when interacting with persons as 'the next luna' as she speaks, she extends a hand.

Quin looks at her hand, wanting to shake it but does not. He knows if he does the feeling....the sparks......the invisible string pulling them together would just get tighter and tighter.

Quin was fully informed on the way this packs operates they do not wait for their members to find their mates but instead pair them up and marry them off without a second thought. He was specifically told by his father to not interfere with the doing of this pack but merely observe.... what he was not aware of is the chances of meeting his MATE her in the arms of the future Alpha of White moon pack.
