Chapter 3: What you think of me.

You know how I said the first day back to school wasn't really as interesting as I anticipated..... Yeah, I take that back!

"What did he even mean by that?.... How did he save your life?..." Sophie asks slipping into her P.E shorts.
"Soph, I would rather we talk about this some other time..." I whisper looking around the girls changing room filled with chattering students getting ready for P.E.
I glance at her. "Besides, I'm more confused about Oscar calling you Puppy..."

"4 minutes left girls, chop chop! It shouldn't take this long to slip out of and into clothes..... Mary, please put on your bra!" A female staff shouts from across the room.
"But it's more comfortable without them Mrs Harrison" the girl shouts back.

"Everyone knows Oscar's a flirt..." Sophie continues. "He just does it to get attention!"
"I haven't seen him do it to any other girls Soph.... I think the only attention he wants is from you..." I suggest.

She grabs my hand that was holding onto my shorts half way up my leg, causing them to drop "You think so?" She asks.

"Uh... sure... I mean you guys look pretty close?" I say putting on my shorts.
She sighs "We're not close, he just likes to copy off me in class."
"He seems nice..."
"He's alright, I just don't think he sees me like that..."
"Oh... ok..."

"2 minutes left!" The staff yells.

"Mia... you promise that if anything happens between you and Liam, you'd tell me right?..." she asks in a serious but soft tone.
"Of course Soph... but you don't have to worry, nothing is going to happen!" I respond.
"Mia-" she starts before I interrupt.
"I don't know what Liam's playing at.... I don't know what he thinks will happen, but whatever it is, I'll make sure to put a stop to it!" I snap.

"What are you so afraid of Mia?"

I turn to face her "I'm not afraid of anything, I just don't like him. He's so... did you see the way he came up to me at lunch, thinking that he can just touch me wherever and however he wants? Gosh, if we weren't at school, I would have kicked him right in his Melons so hard his grandfather would feel it!"
Sophie laughs.
"I mean it..." I continue "After four years of pretending I don't exist, he can't just waltz in and talk to me like he has any power over my feelings..." I growl, putting my hair in a low pony tail.

"Out you go now girls, time to get those heart rates up!" The staff shouts.

The students begin to make their way to the sports hall.
Sophie and I follow.

At the sports hall...

*Pweeeeep*

The sound of a whistle echos through the hall.
We gather around Mrs Harrison out of breath from our torture- I mean warm up.

Mrs Harrison claps her hands "Alright girls, split into two teams, we're playing basketball!"

The students groan, mumbling among themselves.

"Uh yeah... I can't play any sports," a voice from the group says.
"My massage therapists says I've been putting too much pressure on my joints and muscles so I'll be sitting this one out." She chirps.

Mrs Harrison turns to face her. "Do you have a doctors note confirming this Elizabeth?"

"It's Lily, and no I don't but I really should listen to my massage therapist..."

Mrs Harrison stares at her with a blank expression like she couldn't be less bothered by the words coming out of lily's mouth.
"Team A!" She says throwing Lily a red coloured bib.
Lily's jaw drops in disbelief.
Sophie laughs.
Lily glances at her.
Sophie turns quiet directing her gaze in a different direction.
