It's been a couple weeks to a month meaning it was time for me to go back to work. Imani has gotten a whole lot better. The doctors said it was a miracle for her to remember us. Overall life has been good. I haven't been to my apartment yet but I plan to go this week though.

I pulled up to work and got out my car. I walked in the doors and clocked in. I didn't see my regular co-worker friends so I knew this was finna be a long day.

"Hello how are you?" A customer at the counter asked.

"Im good how are you?"

"Fine, your nails are so cute who does them?" She asked me.

"Thank you and my little sister does them"

"Does she have a website or instagram account?"

"Yea she got a business card if you want it."

"Yes can I have that please"

"Yeah no problem, here"

"Thank you"

"No problem , you're total is $110"

"Here you go"

"Thank you. Here's your change, would you like a receipt?

" Yes please"

" Alright have a nice day!"

After my shift ended I called my peoples to see if they wanted something to eat. Everybody wanted the same thing. Everybody as in Kay, Imani and Zay. They were all out with each other for a maintenance day and Zay was just their uber driver. I called Kai to see if he wanted something too. He answered.

"Oh shii Nia"

"You like that huh?" Nia told him.

"Keep going Nia"

Once I heard all of that bullshit I called his name to get his attention. He picked up the phone and realized he was on facetime with me.

"Oh shit , it's not what it look like Kam"

"Boy fuck you" I said and hung up.

Even though we weren't dating we were still on a talking level so hearing that hit my heart. I've been through past relationships and they all did me wrong. I really thought this was gonna work. I was wrong as fuck.

I pulled up to Sa'Kai's house with my bestfriend. 

"You ready?" Kay asked me.

We walked in the door to his apartment and we immediately saw them laid up together. 

"Kay get this hoe out of my sight before she loses hers."
