A voice can be heard speaking to someone as they open a pop-up book. (The voice is Orsteds from the Live a Live remake)
"A long long time ago, there with a kingdom..." Pop-up book immediately flips to a green set of pages as a tab causes a ginormous spiraling Kingdom to pop up. "The kingdom was a happy one, never having experienced war or violence... The kingdom was ruled by two figures, a queen, and her betrothed, a young prince..."
Two figures pop up out of the book, one a short brunette with blue eyes and purple and yellow clothes, the other, a tall Ginger with green eyes and green and yellow clothes... "The two ruled their Kingdom in peace and harmony... Until one day..."
The book flipped to a gray set of pages as a pop-up of a woman in Brown talking to the short brunette appeared. "The prince, ever so kind went to the kingdom's markets to purchase a lovely bouquet for his queen..." Suddenly a pop-up of the ginger appears, peeking behind a corner of stone.
"The queen misunderstood the princes actions, believing him to be cheating... She cast him down into the dungeons until she felt like he learned his lesson..." Suddenly a dungeon with the brunette chained to the wall popped up from the page. "But... Over time, the Queen's heart grew darker and darker... Eventually her soul became consumed by dark magic, dark magic which she used on the prince in order to bind him to her forever"
The page flipped to a set of blood red pages as a pop-up of a ginormous army appeared. "Eventually, other nearby kingdoms were attacked by the Queen and her dark magic, determined to stop her, the combined might of four kingdoms stormed her castle, and after much strife and death... They succeeded..." A pop-up of a dead Queen lying on the floor next to a private hidden dungeon behind the Walls appeared next.
"The kingdom rejoiced in knowing the wicked Queen was dead... But the prince was sadly never found, hidden in a dungeon only the queen knew of... And for years and years and years, Prince rotted away in that dungeon, eventually dying of starvation..." The page then flips to a set of pure White pages as a pop-up of of the prince in front of a set of golden gates can be seen.
"The prince, having finally died, arrived at the Golden Gates of heaven for his kindness and pure Soul... But just as the golden gates opened for him, the dark spell the queen used on him activated." The page flips to a set of pure black ones as a pop-up of the prince covered in chains being dragged down a crimson hole can be seen. "A set of shackles appeared around the prince, and before he knew it, he was yanked down from the heavens and unto the pit of evil..."
The pages flipped past multiple different pages until they reached a set of purple ones as a pop-up of the prince surrounded by an endlessly tall Forest appeared. "When he awoke, the prince found himself in a forest surrounded by trees which were taller than castles and towers... This place soon became the princes home... The Subcon Forest..."
The final pop-up appeared, a pop-up of a much more lanky and shadowy version of the prince holding a small child. "The prince, lonely in his Forest created a companion, a child made of his magic. (The voice is now Snatchers from Ahit.) This was you, My little Hattie!" A ginormous shadowy hand closes the book as we see a 10-foot tall spirit holding a little girl in his hands reading her the book.

The massive Spirit speaks as he gently places the little girl down on the ground. "So what did you think of my story? I'm just kidding, I know you love that story after all it's the story of how you came to be!" The spirit says as he pats the child on the head.

"Father please, I'm not a child anymore! I'm 268! Please stop treating me like a child!" The spirit's daughter said as the spirit gave a light chuckle and spoke. "Until you reach quadruple digits, to me you will always be a child my dear..."
The spirit laughed as he floated about and greeted several small creatures which resembled him color, but were like small wisps. "Come along now Hattie, we have to inform the forest that it is now daytime!" The king of the forest said as he flew and slithered around the trees with joy in his voice.
The spirit was none other than the king of subcon forest, Snatcher, a mischievous spirit who loved his daughter above All Else. Which is specifically why you never bothered to me the forest.
The subcon forest, for those who are wondering, was like an 8th ring of hell, except instead of being grouped with the other rings, it existed to the side of them, as a personal Kingdom for the Snatcher...
Now if the king had it his way, he would never leave the forest and neither would Hattie... But there was one tiny little weakness the king had.
"Father, may we please, pretty pretty please, go outside?" Hattie begged her father who simply kneeled down, gave a deep sigh and looked at her in the face. "All right fine..."
that tiny weakness was, that When it came to his daughter, Snatcher was a huge pushover. . . .
Eventually after a long, long walk, the pair reached the edge of the forest, a impenetrable and indestructible array of trees with a door carved onto them. Hattie then waved her hand as the carvings glowed blue and a door opened up.
"After you father." Hattie said as she found respectfully. Snatcher nodded his head as he exited through the door. but he was surprised to see that instead of following him, Hattie had transformed into her true form, a purple shadowy spirit that was 7 ft tall and with blue glowing eyes.

The snatcher now looked at his daughter confused as he spoke. "Uh... Hattie, my Willow wisp, what are you doing?" Snatcher said as the princess of the subcon forest spoke to him with a serious face.
"Forgive me Father, but... Until you obtain lasting and meaningful relationships with others, stop relying on me for support, and actually interact with people instead of locking yourself away from others both literally and figuratively, you are here by banished from the subcon forest!" Hattie yelled out as a large pulse of blue energy sent Snatcher flying away from the door as it instantly closed and locked itself...

(All right, so a bit of explaining, Snatcher is NOT a sinner, he is actually a winner, albeit, one who never got to actually enter heaven. As such, he is not forced to stay in one ring, hence why no sinner has ever tried to even enter the subcon forest before... Aside from the fact that they don't even know it exists.
The dynamic between snatcher and Hattie is one of the extremely introverted and overprotective father, and his daughter who was forced to become extremely introverted, due to her father. Yet she longs for her father to find happiness, instead of locking himself away in the forest forever.
