I jolted up faster than I expected and almost body slammed my floor from getting up from bed too quickly

"Crap!" I yelled. Just how long had my alarm been going off? I could still hear the beeping after shutting the bathroom door and rushing to brush my teeth.

After I finished, my mouth tasted like metal but this was a special day and I shouldn't have been late!

I could see my phone ringing. Probably a call from Sua. I snatched my phone off the charger and answered in a hurry

"h-hey hello?" I put the call on speaker as I hurried to put my uniform on, I hoped she wouldn't be too mad at me over sleeping..

"Mizi! Just where are you?! Classes are about to start!"
She yelled from the phone, I could tell she was upset but her voice was still as soft as ever even in times like this.

"Sorry sorry! I knew I said we'd walk together but I completely lost track of time! I'll be there soon alright? I promise I'll pay you back later"
I felt bad for ignoring my alarm earlier, I thought I could sleep for 5 more minutes but I overdid it and now I got a debt to pay

"Hmph! Fine but hurry up!" She hung up as I opened my bedroom door and almost jumped down the stairs

"Mizi be careful! Breakfast is on the table" my mom called from the kitchen as if I HAD time to eat!

"Thanks mom but I'm-" I was about to say until my eyes locked on the perfect eggs and bacon.. Dammit why didn't I get up earlier?!

I made a quick trip to the kitchen scoffing down the food on the plate before dashing out the door "I'm off!" I called, I heard a "have a nice day" but I was already running too far to reply.

As I reached school I was practically out of breath and getting inside confused about where my classes was even worse as I continued to wonder around

My eyes landed on a gorgeous tanned girl with long brown hair, maybe she'd know where to go?

"Uhm excuse me.." I tapped her shoulder causing a slight jump from her

"Huh? Me? Oh a person finally!" She grabbed my shoulders with almost tears in her eyes

"I'm completely lost! Do you know where class B is? I've been wondering around for what seems like 20 minutes!" She cried while shaking me back and forth

"Oh. I'm lost too."

We both stared at each other

"Shit! What am I gonna do now?!" She pulled at her hair "I'm hopeless!" She continued whine until she stopped

"What if we look for our classes together?" She gave a grin

I couldn't help but smile softly and this girl in the same situation as me

"Sure! Id love that."

I REGRET THAT!

Instead of looking for our classes like we said, we would we both got distracted talking to each other instead, like about how we always wanted to go to this school and about our friends. Although I'm happy I made a new friend it would have been faster if I just looked by myself!

unfortunately she was in class B and I was in class A but we kept talking as if we had all the time in the world, WHICH WE DIDN'T!

Anddd that brings us to the present

Huff Huff  "RUN MIZI RUN!" Hyuna yelled as she realized I was slowing down. That girl's name was Hyuna.

while we were talking, we got to know a little more about each other but when we looked at the clock in the hallway we realize it was already the middle of classes!

I was already tired from running all the way here, but running through the hallways desperate to find my class was wayyyyy worse than expected and there was no way I deserved my first day to be like this.

It wasn't until I saw Class A and Class B was just a few feet apart from it.

"Hyuna! There!" I pointed, she was confused as first but as soon as she realized, her eyes sparkled "We found it! we finally found it!"

I couldn't help but giggle as she sounded like it was treasure we has found

"Mizi! I'll see you after class alright?!" Hyuna breathe out, running past my class and towards hers

I nodded "Yeah!" I said back. Although I said I regret walking with her, that wasn't entirely true. I made a new friend and even though I could have avoided being late and getting distracted, at least it was for the experience right?

As soon as I reached my class, I slammed open the door. I suddenly felt aware of my messy hair and sweaty state as all eyes locked onto me, including Sua.

She seemed surprised at first until she had smirk on her face and covered her mouth to giggle. What was she giggling about?! I pouted

The teacher was also shocked before pushing up his glasses.

"Please introduce yourself to the class"

I got to introduced myself and since it was my first day and first time being late I was let off the hook with a warning.

I wiped the sweat off my forehead and plopped down onto the seat next to Sua next to the window. It was a nice view and as I was getting distracted I felt something tap my arm

"Hm?" It was Sua

She came closer as I looked at her, making me blush.

"W-what is it?" She didn't answer until she was right next to my ear

"You know your shirt is backwards right?" she said with a giggle
