(Pumpkin) Little boss pops up from his seat completely enamored while leaning over the railing. "Pumpkin! Pumpkin look it's the world beast! The one that almost took the General's arm!" Excitedly he turns back to see if pumpkin was indeed looking [ Pause for pumpkin banter ]. The advisor with the blue had calmly spoke over the railing to little boss "It's improper for the king to stand mid combat of a duel as it can be taken as a sign of bias. Please remain seated, your highness." Little boss sat down as he should. It doesn't take much of a hard or long look to know the surrounding guards stood strong and more alert, radiating pride.
The General grabbed onto a heavy leather harness wrapped around the beasts body and stepped one leg into the stirrup, the other hung off for now while it was clear there were other footholds made on the harness for more utility.
The beast lunged forward with its front paws in a down and curved position, aiding in the next swing of the sword landing a critical heavy blow. Dylan fell backwards, knocking his sword out of his hand and skittering across the ground. "Faith is your loyalty AND the duty to protect those you sworn to."
Dylan's hitting the ground knocked the wind out of him and shaking him of his conviction. Gripping his sword he cried out in a barbaric rage, seemingly disappearing from before the general and reappearing some distance behind both his father and the beast. He ran forth, gathering to his feet and grabbed the spines on the tail that swing at his mid-section that helped bolder himself forward but not steady enough to land the first but the second digging into his father's side and slipping under the metal plating causing the War driven fighter to hiss in pain, holding firm even under the pressure of combat and his cancer.
The Beast roared in anger turning on it's heels, hissing at the man while pulling the General to land an excruciating blow to immediately be followed up by another, flashing in a blinding light back to back as the beast circled.
Dylan's teeth gnashed together as he turned to face the General while ultimately turning his back to the rest of the creature that glared down and around him like a vulture. He drove his sword forward his vision clouded over in pure rage cutting through the General's block and deflection, with hearty might.
As the beast reared up the General called to his son "Can you bare the weight of your crimes Dylan or will you kneel before the goddess!?". The beast dove down and barrel-rolled throwing the General towards the ground, shattering the Marvel floors like broken ice, sharp rocks piercing up and throwing his son from his feet in the unstable ground.
As he clammored to stay on his feet, he grabbed onto one of the jutted pieces he fell towards. His hand sliding down the sharp edge and cutting a small trail of blood down with his hand that almost impaled him. He heaved himself up to pierce and slash but both of which missed their aim as the sword slipped in his wettening grip of his own life liquid.
The beast sprang to it's feet and charged back, side swiping Dylan and knocking him back against the marble spear he leaned against. Only pausing as the General grabbed onto the harness but was enough time for a reckless swing of the Sergeant's sword to strike his father's back.
The distance was easily gained with only two lunges, turning back to roar at the offending attacker while the general brushes off his armor gathering himself. He didn't have enough time to respond before Dylan instantaneously came shoulder to flank with the dwarfed world beast swinging a strike across the back, beating the wind out of the old man as he heaves up more blood spitting out "Coward!" between the coughs.
Just as he was about to fall off the side of the beast, the creature, turns in on itself, and holding the warrior steady. With a hiss, the beasts claws raise into the air and slamming down on its owner's assailant. With that moment of pause to recover, the General heaves himself over the head of the monster and knocked Dylan forward into the ground.
