Yandere General x Female Reader Pt.2

"How's the fire?" The general asked, smiling down at you. "It feels good." You looked over at the fireplace. The fire made a crackling sound. It was a cold night. He had lit a fire before you entered your room.

"I'm glad. I used what I could find to start the fire." You rubbed your hands together. Your hands were sore from swinging the sword around. He looked at the fire with a grin. All thanks to that stupid book.

"You should get some rest. It's late." You said, standing up from the chair. The general nodded. "It is, but I'm not tired." I want to be with you just a bit longer.

"Ms. Y/N." A maid came inside your room. You looked over at her. "Yes." The General glanced at her. What does she want? He scoffed, his eyes narrowed. Could it be that the Emperor heard I was still here?

"The Emperor is calling for you." You sighed. He must be having trouble sleeping. You grew up beside the Emperor. You had been raised with the palace. Adopted by a maid who served his father's consort.

"You should go rest." The General stood up. "I'll take you to him." He said, smiling softly at you.

"Okay." You didn't refuse him. "Let's go." You let out a sigh of relief. At least, he didn't make me patrol the courtyard.

He heard you. "After you're done with the Emperor, make sure to patrol the courtyard." You looked over at him. "I will." Can he read minds now?

You were all walking over to the Emperor's room. The maid kept her head low. She was walking behind you. The General felt a bit better. He was going to give you the night off. However, he'd rather you patrol than spend the night chatting with the Emperor.

The maid hurriedly walked in front of the Emperor's door. She announced the presence of Y/N and the General. The Emperor called out for them to enter. "Y/N." The Emperor greeted you with a smile. "Greetings." You said, bowing your head. The Emperor looked at the General. "What are you doing here?" The General coldly smiled before greeting the Emperor. "I just wanted to give my greeting after safely bringing my soldier to you."

The Emperor chuckled. Who does he think he is? Claiming my Y/N? He has a death wish. "Thank you. You should go back and rest. You never know what could happen tomorrow."

You stood on the side and felt the tension between them. Some things never change. So competitive. "Y/N. Take a seat. I'll make it clear. You're dismissed, General." He patted beside him.

The only protection he has is Y/N and the people. My duty as well. He remained calm. He's not worth my rage. The General nodded, he bowed before leaving. "Have a restful night." The Emperor nodded. He took one last glance at you before exiting the room.

You sat down. "Hmm...he seems attached to you." And I don't like it. The General thought. Those glances were full of promises. "Uh, yeah. He's strict with me. I have to patrol tonight. I can't catch a break." You swore. Attached my foot. He's restless. He always wants me to do things when I'm talking with someone.

The Emperor didn't look convinced. "You don't have to patrol. I'll send someone else." He looked at you and said, "If the General has a problem with this then you tell him that I ordered it."
