Sam couldn't shake the feeling of unease that had settled in her stomach. Everywhere she turned, she caught glimpses of Mon and William together. It seemed like they were always in each other's company, and it was starting to take a toll on Sam's peace of mind.
The next day, as Sam met up with her friends, she couldn't help but confide in them about her growing concerns. "I keep seeing Mon with William everywhere I go," she confessed, her voice tinged with frustration. "I can't help but feel like something's going on between them."
Her friends exchanged knowing glances before one of them spoke up. "Sam, you're overthinking this. Maybe it's just a coincidence. You shouldn't let it consume you. Have you thought about talking to Mon about it?"
Sam's expression darkened at the suggestion. "I can't just confront her about it," she replied, her voice strained. "She's made it clear that I have no right to interfere in her life, especially after what I did."
As Sam made her way to the counter to pay for her order, lost in her thoughts, she suddenly collided with someone. Looking up, she found herself face to face with none other than William.
"Why are you everywhere, William?" she blurted out, unable to contain her frustration.
William's expression shifted to one of confusion as he responded, "Hello, Khun Samanun. I'm actually here with Mon. We're here to buy some clothes for her as her old clothes don't fit anymore for obvious reasons," he chuckled. "She's sitting in the food court actually; I'm here to get her favorite milk tea."
Sam forced a polite smile, feeling a surge of mixed emotions. "Oh, I see. Well, it was nice running into you. Excuse me," she managed to say before swiftly excusing herself.
Sam navigated the bustling corridors of the shopping center, her pace quickening as she approached the familiar sight of the food court. The echo of laughter drew her attention, and she spotted Mon, seated comfortably and engrossed in a tender conversation with her swelling belly.
"Hello, sweet pea! Guess what? Mama's here, and we're going to have the grandest adventures together. You're going to be my little partner-in-fun—I just can't wait to finally hold you in my arms and smother you with cuddles!"
As Mon continued chatting affectionately with her growing belly, the tender connection between her and the unborn child seemed to deepen, filling the air with an unspoken promise of boundless love.
Mon chuckled softly, patting her belly gently. "You know, we're going to explore all the best places, little one. I'll show you the stars and sing you lullabies until you drift off to dreamland. It'll be our own magical world."
Sam's heart fluttered with a mixture of emotions, a bittersweet ache settling within her chest. She took a tentative step closer, her eyes fixated on the heartwarming scene unfolding before her. But just as she drew nearer, the world seemed to blur momentarily as William materialized behind Mon, clutching a cup of milk tea.
