HAZELS POV

3 weeks later

I was arrested for possession of an illegal weapon they gave me community for 3 weeks and I had to pay 5 grand because they suspended my license and towed Deon's truck, they also took Kayden away from me, I can only see him for a couple hours a day. I'm in court right now trying to claim Kayden's custody back

Judge: Ms.Sanchez do you have a statement?

Hazel: yes I do your honor

I stand up next to my lawyer

Hazel: When I was 16 I gave Kayden away because I couldn't take care of him, My mother was an addict and my father was no where to be found. 10 years later Kayden showed up at my door step, I automatically knew it was him because a mother knows her own son Kayden is named Kayden Lamar Davis after his father the late Deontae Lamar Davis, Deon wasn't a perfect father but he was the next best thing, he wasn't ready but at the same time he was. He pounds his gavel and Kayden comes running up to me for a hug

BRITTS POV

I see she got her son back I was hoping the state would take that little brat it would've been easier to kill him, I had to recover from the bullets Hazel had put in me and emotionally from when that son of a bitch Deon killed Devon

I watched Hazel and her son walk out the building then I leave behind and get in the car
