It's the little things

If your wife ever says something is perfect, don't believe her. Earlier this week, Soojin and I went to a paint shop to buy some paint. You see, we just moved into a house because 4 months ago we said ‘This apartment is too small!’ and she didn't have enough counter space. I offered to buy another apartment because a new building was built recently, but that wasn't what she wanted. She wanted her dream house.

A townhouse. A townhouse with a backyard that looked at a plaza. A plaza that had a nail salon. So of course I had to buy it for her, because she would've ‘DIED’ if she didn't go. But she said the same about the caribbean. She would've ‘DIED’ if she didn't get to swim with the dolphins in Jamaica. (She didn't even swim at all)

But there was one problem; She hated the color of the walls. So right before moving in, Soojin sent me to the store with her to buy a paint color for the ground floor. She wanted a cream color, I wanted a grey-ish blue color. But I wasn't going to say that, I was just going to paint the garage the color I want anyway.

Soojin chose a color. ‘This is the color! The color that will save our house from looking like a hippie drug house!’ whatever that even means. So we painted all of the walls on our ground floor ‘Wimborne white’, which I just called white, which earned me a smack over the head. So, after spending 687 won worth of paint, Soojin decided that “The Wimborne would look better upstairs!” So we had to wipe it all off and choose another color. So I chose ‘Lunar Surface’ and just like that, she was at it again. “This is the colour, babe! You don't get it! It'll look so good in the kitchen!”

We ended up not painting at all because she liked the original color, which was lunar surface, to begin with anyway.

How do we feel about the new book, my lovelies? Also, PLEASE don't pressure me to upload (unless i haven't uploaded in like 3 weeks, feel free to bomb my inbox, i'm not mad, it just makes me feel bad when I can’t upload) this is gonna be a pretty short story like i said, simple and sweet. Nothing too much, and relatively short with like 300 words, ok?
