*Ariel's point of view*

I was sitting in the corner of my jail cell. My mind was all over the place but my baby was on my mind. The guard rattled my cage door.

"Ariel Rogers?"

"Yes."

"Come with me."

"Okay."

I got up and the guard put me in shackles. We walked out of the yard and into a small room. He sat me down. A few more people came inside the room. Then I realized, today was court hearing.

My lawyer sat next to me with papers.

"Well, I think I can get you out by today... Isn't that exciting?" She said smiling.

"Really?" I smiled.

The judge walked in.

"All rise." Each person in the room rose to there feet.

"You may be seated." The guard yelled.

I sat back down while my lawyer stood up. The judge asked my lawyer to present her with the evidence. She handed the judge a vanilla folder with paper work in it.

"Mrs.Rogers can you step up here..." The judge asked nicely. I looked side to side and got up. My lawyer motioned me over. I finally made my way over. Now I was eye to eye with the judge.

"Tell me, what is it like to be a mother..."

My lawyer made a gesture down to her hand. She hand written a script for me. Her hand said 'Read this'. I took a deep breathe and exhaled.

"I just want to let my baby know, she is my world. Only a heart as dear as hers would give so... Unselfishly. I become a better person because of my daughter. She is the one who, makes me wanna change for the better." I stumbled over every other word. I looked into the judges eyes.

"Well... It seemed you have changed..." The judge stated.

"Okay?" I said turning my head to the side.

"You will be released but on probation, for child abuse, reckless endangerment of a minor, driving under the influence, and you will also be taking parenting classes for the next five years." The judge said dismissing everyone from the court room. My lawyer turned to me and gave me a huge hug.

"Thank you." I whispered. My lawyer nodded and let me go. The guard took me back to my cell. They ordered me to take everything I owned to check out.

After a few hours getting my paper work together I was released.

I called my mother, who lived a few minutes away from the jail. She gladly picked me up and took me shopping. I grabbed some clothes because I lost mines and got a new phone. My mother took me back to the hotel I will be staying at for a while. I thanked her a million times before actually letting her go.

After she left, I looked for Luke and the baby.

Until I stumbled across his name, number and address.
