I don't know how I got roped into this, except I do, considering the only ones available tonight on such short notice behave like children when unsupervised. As if on cue, Luke jumps onto Gabe's back screaming "charge!" in the parking lot, while Sean gallops next to them, slapping Gabe's ass every few feet.

I'm not going to survive the night babysitting these three. I have a huge exam tomorrow, even though I already know the material, it would have been nice to get the chance to look through it once more.

We've been asked in to observe the clientele who frequent this club. The team that's been assigned hasn't been able to come up with anything in the month that they've been working here, but they have the disadvantage of actually having to work while here. We're more able to blend into the crowd and watch the patrons, though I think the three of them might be here to observe something else, but that can't be helped.

Walking in, I'm genuinely surprised by how clean this place is, despite the music being a little thumpy for my taste. I mean, generally speaking, the places I've been in – strictly for work – haven't been the most cleanly experiences. It's tasteful in here. Nothing gaudy or dingy, just sharp lines, decent lighting, and the air isn't stale.

We nod to Brandon who is perched on a stool at the entrance, next to the coat check area. The woman there gives us all a once-over, batting her heavily lashed eyes at Luke who doesn't seem to notice anything outside of the booths. Gabe, is giving everything a critical glare, I can already see the décor ideas flitting through his mind the farther we walk in. Sean flashes the woman his signature smile, one that only someone so comfortable with themselves can give. I actually witness her swooning as he walks by making Brandon snort in the process. I simply fork over the money, leaving before she can give me any change.

A perky brunette with boobs pushed up to her chin greets us in an overly friendly manner. She links arms with Gabe and Luke, who dutifully follow her through the crowds into a section of the club, it isn't as full with people just yet, but still surprisingly busy for a Tuesday, either way we manage to get a booth to sit at, instead of a table, I think the bill Luke just forked over had a thing or two to do with that.

"Alright darlin's, your server will be right with y'all." Flashing us a beaming smile once more before sauntering off to return to wherever she came from.

"Well I'm fucking looking forward to tonight! Who's with me?" Gabe says as he practically breaks his neck from swiveling it at warp speed, absorbing what I hope is the atmosphere.

"Don't forget, we're here for a job." I say, keeping my eyes respectfully trained at the table. I hear Luke scoff, then his long index finger boops me on the nose. I basically remove the first layer of skin from my knuckles as I knock them on the table edge trying to swat him away, which just makes Luke cackle.

"Yes Mr. Lee! Though, you have to admit, this is a much better view than what we normally get." He smirks at me, leaning back in the booth with his arms behind his head. Sean chuckles beside him, palm in the air just waiting, "I know I'm going to enjoy my first night off in a while!" he says with glee, as Luke dutifully high-fives him and gracefully goes back into his relaxed pose.

Dear God, I feel the tension headache forming behind my eyes, this is going to be a long night.

Tuning them out, I begin glancing around, doing what we've come here to do, I've already sighted a few potential targets when I realize the table has gone completely quiet. Which never happens if the three of them are together. When I turn my attention back to our group, Sean's eyes are practically bulging out of his head, while Luke has that far away dazed look to him. I'm about to turn to see what's going on, when Gabe lets out a feral moan. I'd be worried, but his eyes have rolled to the back of his head at the fingers scratching along his scalp. An interestingly effective sales tactic.

I decide to tune out the noise, refocusing my efforts. Corey identified a few patrons who would be in tonight and I'm trying to keep my eye out for them.

"Evenin' gents. What can I get for you this evening?" that voice sounds familiar, but I think I've spotted a person of interest, so my focus is otherwise occupied, but from the groans Gabe is making, I think he has an idea of what he's looking to get this evening. I smirk at my own internal joke, before I hear a throat clearing. Looking up, I see Luke who is pointedly staring at me, then to the waitress, bringing me back to the real world.

Pushing my glasses to the bridge of my nose, I turn to give my full attention to the waitress when my eyes fall on the most beautiful, albeit terrified, looking green eyes. My heart practically stops, and at the kick directed at my shins, let out a most unmanly shriek.
