Okay so F4KQCID3 and I have cooked 4 Sark Picrews, so uh, yuh. Obviously this is a follow-up to the last page, aswell as a tie-in to smth that I'm working on concurrently with T.E (they are related anyway so meh).
DELIVERANCE!Sark (Scarfless)
How Sark starts out from Chapter 1 to 3. He's gained his Buster Arm ability and is hanging around with Junter at this point. Obviously, he's weakened, having had his shit ran by Exetior and Sal'.DELIVERANCE!Sark (Main)
How Sark looks from Chapter 4 to 8. He gains the scarf from Sybil/Jubilee and Beryl (don't mind who they are for now), though otherwise his appearance doesn't change too much.DELIVERANCE!Sark (Tattoos+ Sword)
Sark's Final Design Shift, from Chapter 9 onwards. He gains this after he fights a projection of the past version of him from before he was tortured into insanity. He also gains his sword, The Iscariot, which he ultimately uses to fight Stichlait and then eventually an alternate version of him in the Secret Ending.Sark (Past)
This is Sark before he became the monster he is now, and is the form that fights his present self during his 'redemption' arc. He was still an upstart in the past, leading to his downfall, however he actually had rather decent intentions as far as Exetior was concenred, and it was the last period of time they'd ever truly trust eachother (for obvious reasons). So uh, the context for all this?
Well, originally with Sark, the intention was that I was tweaking the original characters from JaizKoys, taking out some of the less savoury stuff and tuning up the good parts. This resulted in a semi-tragic asshole who, despite his actions, was still a somewhat understandably damaged character. His death is both deserved and a bit tragic, since he dies to both Junter and Rosy, while Cream had not long before been bisected and his only other servant, Sal', had revealed that she was never actually on his side and sided instead with the Highests.Despite this, I kept writing into the more tragic parts of his backstory (Sark before Stichlait, his self-hatred that compels him to do what he does, the perception that he could never be better, etc) and... Well, eventual that lead to me very hastily conceptualising a sort of semi-redemption for him which, while not really making up for what he'd done, shows that he certainly does have the capacity to grow, albeit incredibly slowly and requiring ALOT of kicks in the ass to achieve.
In the end, I came up with this:
DELIVERANCE:Telos Ephemera.
I'm genuinely really proud of this logo tbh, it's probably my best yet despite being so simple. But yeah, tell me what y'all thimk in the comments I guess. I'll see y'all soon.
