Scarlett: I can't with Disney's Hercules. The beginning part irks me a lot. Oh my god Heracles IS a Greek tragedy. Also Heracles is not Hercules they are two different pantheons despite the fact the story is the same. Heracles is Greek (which they are going with) Hercules is Roman (which they aren't doing). Also Heracles was not Hera's son she made him kill his first son and wife because Hera drove him mad. Poseidon is the father of Pegasus not Zeus. Zeus didn't just create Pegasus for Heracles (which I might add Heracles want a god. He was a demigod). He had a twin half-brother who was fully mortal. The 12 labors of Heracles was technically I think supposed to be like 11 but one didn't count because he asked for praise and they were done as redemption for killing said son and wife. Heracles is the son of Alcmene and Zeus and his mortal twin half-brother is the son of Alcmene and Amphitryon is named Iphicles.
Scarlett: Also Hades was a pretty chill god to be honest he wasn't evil like Hercules portrays him to be. Zeus and Poseidon caused most of the problems honestly as well as other gods. Hades mostly chilled in the Underworld and besides kidnapping Persephone didn't do much. He even let Orpheus take his lover, Eurydice, back to the Overworld after she died as long as he didn't look back at her before they reached the Overworld. It didn't work but it's the thought that counts. Orpheus couldn't hear Eurydice's steps so he looked back at her and according to the deal Eurydice was taken back to the Underworld. Once Orpheus made it back to the mortal world he basically fell into depression until he died.
