Two Of A Kind

Chapter 3

"Oh, hi." I said trying to act casual. He giggled. I made Luke Hemmings giggle! I don't even know what I did, but I made him giggle!
"Hey, I asked them to bring you back here." He said. I stood there, dumbfounded.
"You-You did?" I asked surprised. He nodded.
"I saw you at Starbucks the other day." He said. I nodded and pushed back a loose strand of hair, but it fell back again. Luke giggled.
"Here, Let me help." He said. I nodded and he pushed it back tucking in some hair. I smiled widely.
"Thanks." I said softly.
"What's your name?" He asked.
"Kiara Simser." I said. He nodded.
"That name is very pretty." He said. I was blushing like crazy now.
"So, um, the band and I are staying an extra day, and I was wondering if you'd go out with me...?" He said shyly.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Like, a date." He said. My heart skipped a beat. What?!
"I know your public you, but what if your some kind of serial killer that kills his fans and hides the bodies in his refrigerator?" I asked. He
"There's always that possibility." He said. I giggled and he just looked at me for a while in silence. Eventually I looked at my feet and tried to not draw attention.
"So?" He asked.
"Oh, um, yes." I said. He got a huge smile on his face.
"Okay, can I get your number so we can plan it?" He asked. I nodded and handed him my phone. He took it and started typing.
"Where are we going?" I heard Maykenzey's voice echo through the room.
"Wait... Are you gonna murder us?!" Tess asked loudly.
"Calm down Tess! Nothing bad is going to happen!" Caitlin scolded. They eventually came on stage and saw us.
"Kiara!" Maykenzey said throwing her arms in the air. She hugged me and I hugged her back. Apparently she didn't see the tall guy in front of me. She looked up and her eyes widened.
"Um, hi." She said awkwardly. He smiled and waved.
"Hi." He said. She stepped off to the side and took a deep breath. I turned around to see Tess and Caitlin frozen like statues.
"Is this why we were brought back here?" Maykenzey asked. I nodded and she looked Luke and then back at me. "So what's your names?" He asked gesturing to everyone else.
"I'm Maykenzey Raines."
"I'm Caitlin Sheets." She said stepping toward him.
"Tess Conitz." Tess said stepping quickly next to me. He nodded.
"Nice to meet you." He said with his thick Australian accent. Luke handed my phone back.
"Oh, thanks." I said taking it and putting it in my pocket.
"So, do you guys want to come get dinner with the rest of the band? We haven't eaten yet and if your interested-" Luke was saying.
"Yes. We'd love to." I said. He smiled.
"They're back here." He said. I nodded and he opened the door. I walked inside shyly. Everyone was sitting in a chair just playing with their phones. They all looked up and didn't look back down. Their eyes scanned us and they smiled.
"This is Kiara, Maykenzey, Tess, and Caitlin." Luke said. I waved and they waved back and muttered hellos, except for Ashton who was being extremely friendly and hugged me, along with everyone else.
"Alright, let's go get something to eat, I'm starving." Luke said. I nodded.
"Pizza!" Michael yelled.
"Do you guys like pizza?" Luke asked. We all simply nodded.
"Okay! Let's goooo!" Ashton said extending the 'o'. He grabbed Maykenzey's arm and dragged her in the direction of the car.

She got her arm out of his grip and ran with him. We got in the tour van and Ashton was in the drivers seat while Maykenzey was in the passenger seat. They were both ranting about something. When Calum opened the door it got quiet. I awkwardly got inside and Luke sat down by me. Caitlin and Michael slid in the back. Calum sat next to Caitlin and Michael and Tess sat next to me.
"Quite the view, huh Calum?" Michael said teasingly. I turned around and noticed he was right behind Tess.
"Shut the fuck up." Calum said sternly.
"Stop Swearing!" Ashton yelled. I laughed and looked forward. We backed out of the parking lot and we are now driving.
"So how old are all of you?" Ashton asked.
"Seventeen, but Caitlin is eighteen." Maykenzey said.
"Oh, did you graduate high school yet?" He asked. We all shook our heads.
"They postponed it until July because the school was flooded and the supplies were coming in late." Tess informed him. He nodded.
"So what are you favorite bands?" Ashton asked. Maykenzey got excited and started naming off her favorites. We all nodded in agreement because the ones she named off is my favorites too.
"Do you guys have somewhere to be instead being with us?" Luke asked.
Then I remembered, I had to call my dad!

I quickly got out my phone and let it ring.
"Kiara Marie Simser you said it ended at ten o'clock and it is-" my dad started to say.
"Eleven I know I know. But dad, I'm with Five Seconds Of Summer at the moment and this time I'm not pretending. I'm serious we're going out for pizza." I said.
"Okay... Just don't get pregnant." He said. I laughed .
"Okay I won't. I love you."
"I love you too. Drive safe." He said and then he hung up.
"What'd your dad say?" Caitlin asked.
"He said don't get pregnant." Then the car erupted with laughter. I looked at Luke who was smirking.
"Don't get any ideas, Luke." Michael said still giggling. The car erupted with more laughter. I blushed furiously and Luke covered his face with his hands.
"You either Kiara." Caitlin said. I pulled my knees up to my chest. I hate my friends. The laughter finally died down and I put my legs back on the ground. Luke uncovered his face and looked at me. He leaned in a little closer.
"I did have a few ideas." He whispered.
