Chris driving makes Felix swoon.

Felix knows it's just a passing feeling, that Chris seems so grown up and mature, it makes him seem like he'd be such a good boyfriend. Like he just knows how to take care of someone.

Felix on the other hand, hasn't gotten his driver's license yet, and probably won't be able to anytime soon with the trainee and possible idol schedule lined up. There's no real need for it, since the staff will be driving them around to their schedules, and the lack of personal time means he won't be getting out much by himself either. Felix files the thought of getting his license at the back of his head, for an older him.

That day, Chris is tasked to bring Felix to the Australian Embassy in Seoul to sort out some of his documents. They happened to be short on managerial staff that day, and since Chris had also gone through the same process anyway, they decided it would just be a better choice overall to send him. He could probably communicate with them better in English anyway.

"You ready to go?" Chris asks as he slips his cap on, before picking up the company car keys.

"Yeah mate!" Felix hopes he doesn't sound too excited to be skipping practice, but he really is. After his last meal with Chris, they really didn't have that much time to themselves anymore. Chris has been holed up in his studio more often than not now, the younger boy barely getting to see him in the dorm anymore. So today felt like a treat to Felix. It's a few hours for him to catch up with Chris.

Chris is a good driver. He doesn't immediately start the car when he and Felix get in. He conscientiously checks the gears, mirrors, and Felix's seatbelt. Only letting out a satisfied hum and starting the engine once he's satisfied.

The mood in the car is peaceful yet comfortable. Felix would have been worried if he had to go alone, but since he's with Chris, his mind is calm. Chris will help him if there's anything he's unsure of.

Except, Felix isn't all that calm when he's watching the other boy's thick forearm control the steering wheel.

Even Felix himself finds it preposterous, but he blames it on the lack of romance in his life lately. Sure, the trainees are all unbelievably good-looking, but the intense schedules make it so that he only has time to be worried about his Korean vocabulary than being charmed by one of them. Except for the one boy who keeps catching his eyes.

"You can sleep if you're tired, I know practice can be pretty rough," Chris' voice pulls Felix out of his trance.

"Oh, I'm alright! I wanna stay awake and chat with you instead." Felix thinks, at the back of his mind, that his jittery heart wouldn't allow him to fall asleep anyway.

Chris drives safely, as expected. He keeps both hands on the steering wheel, never going too close to the car in front. The car's speed is controlled, not recklessly fast and not unbearably slow either. Chris always makes sure to slow down when he's reaching a bump in the road.

Felix? Well, he can feel himself falling deeper for this boy, who is so steady and dependable in everything he does.
