DIYA POV :
I was sitting in nandini maa room, she called me after everyone left to sleep. Ruhi was sleeping on lap, today I didn't got time to take her in everything. Maa was in her closet room, searching something. While I was sitting on the couch.
She came back after few minutes "Diya, she called me and i looked up at her she can and sat beside me She forwarded a jewellery box towards me. "Take this a small gift from us from me and suresh. She said "But what's in this?" I asked. "You see yourself, open it!" she said signaling me to open the box. As I open the box "I gasped" there was a diamond necklace in it. Shining bright!!
"Maa I can't take this, give me your blessings I need them i dont want this. and this looks too expensive! I can't take this please!" I said.
"DIYA! Ye humari khandani nishani hai. My mother-in-law's mother-in-law gave it to her, and my mother-in-law gave it to me, and now I'm giving it to you. This is our tradition.
I always wanted to give this to someone who will understand its worth and the emotion behind it, not like the person whom I gave this few years ago and they never respected it or anything." She said her voice changed while saying the last sentence.
"Aur main janti hu, tum bohot hi jyada kabil ho. Aur ye ab se tumhara hai. Hm!" She said caressing my back.
"Maa, but?" I protested because I can't take this expensive thing, what if something happens and i loss it?
"No, I Don't want to hear anything from you, consider this as our blessing, and take it beta, you should never say no to blessing hmm?" She said. "Thankyou so much, maa." I said.
"Thankyou for what? Hm? Also Never say thanks to blessing!" She said and I giggle. "Come, let me take you to your and Jai's room. You should take rest you must be tried". She said.
Ohh god!! I completely forgot about him, my migraine hits me all of a sudden as I started getting nervous thinking that I will have to live with him, and that too in the same room.
I nodded, and stood up, carrying ruhi, in my arms. As we were advancing towards the room, my heart was pounding louder every second inside my chest. I wanted to asked her if I can get another room to stay. Because I don't want to be in the same room with him, I hate his behaviour not only his behaviour.. But everything,
And first is his face and second his silence, he is always mute as if someone has tied his mouth.. this kind of people's, really irritates me to the core..
I'm a talkative person, can talk 24/369 hours days nonstop and than there's him. Gods.. I have never seen a person like him in my entire life. I think, i will go crazy If he will stay with me.. no I will have to think something about this..
My mind was debating Whether to ask her or not. What if she gets upset or angry? I don't know if she will agree or not. But I gather some courage and finally asked her. "M-Maa I can I..I asked you something?" I asked.. "Yes go ahead!" She pivoted her head towards me with a smile..
