Jungkook was ready to visit his parent's home with Taehyung when his phone rang

"I miss you, Jungkook! Please forgive me. Give me one chance," the person said from the other side of the phone.

Without another word, Jungkook cut the call and set the phone down. He took a deep breath and shook his head, visibly trying to compose himself.

"Who was that?" Taehyung asked him, looking at him curiously.

With a heavy sigh, Jungkook responded, "No one important. No one you need to worry about."

As they arrived at Jungkook's parent's home, Jungkook's father, Jeon Jeong-guk, opened the door with a warm smile.

"Welcome, Taehyung! We're so glad to have you in our home," he said, giving Taehyung a hug.

Jeon Mi-jeong, Jungkook's mother, followed suit, wrapping her arms around Taehyung and welcoming him into their family.

"You're always welcome here," she told Taehyung.

Taehyung felt a lump form in his throat as he tried to hold back the tears. It was a feeling of being loved and supported that he had never felt before, and he was touched by the kindness that Jungkook's parents were showing him

As Jungkook's parents cleaned up after lunch, Taehyung couldn't help but explore more of the house. He wandered into Jungkook's bedroom, taking in the surroundings. The room was filled with books, clothes, and music equipment.

Taehyung's curiosity got the best of him as he found a diary tucked away in one of Jungkook's drawers. Without even thinking twice, he opened it up and began to rummage through the pages.

As he turned the pages, he soon came across a page that was stapled shut. He was filled with an intense curiosity and tore open the staple, the polaroid picture falling out onto the floor.

As he picked up the picture, he noticed it was a photograph of Jungkook with a boy he had never seen before. They were standing side by side, their arms wrapped around each other in a tender embrace.

He felt a pang of jealousy and an ache in his heart, but he also felt a sense of curiosity about Jungkook's past.

Jungkook walked into his bedroom to find Taehyung sitting at his desk, the diary open in front of him.

Taehyung's stomach twisted into knots as he tried to come up with an excuse, but Jungkook cut him off.

"That's Kim Mingyu, my ex," Jungkook said matter-of-factly, his eyes fixed on Taehyung.

Taehyung felt his heart drop to his stomach. He had never been so jealous before, and the mixture of emotions was overwhelming.

"But it was just a two-weeks date, nothing else. He was a jerk and cheated on me with someone else," Jungkook continued, his expression softening.
