There is a Japanese legend that says,

"If you feel like you're losing everything, remember, trees lose their leaves yearly, yet they still stand tall and wait for better days to come."

Taehyung lay on his bed, staring blankly at the ceiling, as his confrontation with Jungkook replayed in his mind like a broken record.

"Stupid, so stupid! Why did I have to screw up so bad?" he scolded himself aloud his heart feeling a heavy sense of loss and regret.

He recalled the hurt and anger in Jungkook's eyes. The way he had yanked his arm away from Taehyung's touch, avoiding his touch as it repulsed him.

Taehyung continued to sob into the pillow, his tears staining the fabric.

"Jungkook," he repeated, his voice quivering with every word. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have pushed you away like that. I was so stupid, so blind."

He clutched the pillow tighter to his chest as if it were a substitute for Jungkook's presence.

"I miss you so much," he whispered, his voice choked with emotion. "Please come back to me."

Jimin leaned against the door, his ear pressed against the wood as he listened to Taehyung's sobs. He felt a surge of concern and sympathy, wanting to comfort his best friend in his time of need. However, as he was about to open the door, Yoongi grabbed his arm and pulled him away.

"Let's talk, can we?" Yoongi demanded, his tone firm. Jimin looked up at him in surprise but nodded in agreement.

Yoongi led him to another room, closing the door behind them. He took a deep breath before speaking. "Jimin, I know you want to help Taehyung, but he needs space right now. Let's give him some time to process his emotions."

"You're right, Yoongi. But I just..." Jimin's sentence was cut off by Yoongi.

Yoongi placed a hand on Jimin's shoulder. "Jimin, sometimes we have to let people work through their feelings on their own. We'll be there for them when they are ready to talk, and we'll make sure they know that they have our support."
