Chapter 5

Nyx
I returned to Italy the next day and explored the little cafe we teleported too yesterday. This time I couldn't bring Aphrodite since she is bound to Zeus's lame rule.

I silently drank my coffee and smiled. I pulled out a iPad I bought and explored. Technology here in the mandane world is pretty interesting.

After I was done with the tablet I sat watching the measly mundanes going about their business while I'm just sitting here making the clouds cover the sun every now and then. My powers were my entertainment when I'm bored. My thoughts started to wonder until I seen a car immediately stop and I watch as the man I had sex with last night, exit the car. He started marching towards my direction when the guy that was driving the car stepped out and yelled for him.

He stopped and turned around and I took the opportunity to fade myself into darkness. I seen him turn around and look for me. His eyes clouded with confusion.

I stepped into the alley way and summoned a portal.

" That was too close for comfort. You know I never caught his name." I said allowed
I walked into the portal and I ended up at home and seen Ares was waiting for me. I let out a sigh and continue on walking.

" Where have you been Nyx, Athena has been looking for you" Ares yelled out.

"What I do in my free time is none of your business. Now what does Athena want." I said jerking around. Athena only talks to me when she needs me very badly. Most of the gods and goddesses fear me because of the power I hold.

" She needs you to create a weapon  so we could use it in the demonic war."

" So the demons are getting closer to Olympus." I said pacing.

" Yes, and we know it's a hard process with you but their attacks are getting to close to earth."

" How about I work with Theia and we will come up with some dark and light thingy." I said

These new demons are not from Hades. It's much  worse they were coming from Lilith and Lilith creations are very deadly.

He nodded his head and left. I relaxed and walked around my house and headed for my sisters house.

Me and Theia use to be so close when we were younger but as we grew older our responsibilities pulled us apart.
For goodness sakes She's light and I'm dark. I missed my sister but her kingdom hurts my eyes. I made as far has her borders and a portal opened up and soon my sister appeared.

" Nyx, I'm so excited to see you!" She said cheerfully. Giving me a hug.

"Yeah! I wish it was under better circumstances though." I said

" Yeah. Ra, Told me about the war. He had to stop a serpent in Egypt." She said

Ra, was her husband who lives in Egypt.  I see him often when I explore Egypt. He cares and protecting his people. Unlike Us olympians he can go up and down whenever he wants since he's Egyptian. It doesn't stop him from loving my sister though. My sister can go down to the mundane world as she pleases but she is a rule follower so she follows the rule to the period.

" We need to come up with a device that could unleash both of our powers. The demons wouldn't stand a chance to beat both sun and darkness." I said

We can get the Great welder to make such device. And even then we don't know if it would quiet work. Our powers only work so much on each others time, I'm weak at night and your weak at days."Theia said.

"Yeah we will figure it out and I'll ask him to build a weapon of that magnitude when I return to earth and find him since he like to mingle with the mundanes and hide" I said

She nodded her head and soon we separated and I open a portal to home and went to sleep. I had to think of a good plan but I would need help from Hephaestus. It would be hard to find him since he doesn't like staying in one place.
