Breathing raspy and ragged trying to gather as much breath as the body could muster, eyes coming back into focus looking around trying to figure out where they were. It was at that moment that the hearing which they didn't know had been missing slowly began to come back to them, listening in they could swear they heard footsteps on whatever ground was around whether it be title or cobblestone streets. Eyes closing again whether it be due to the exhaustion or by fear they didn't know which only when the footsteps stopped did the eyes dare to open, the eyes begun to scan around the empty black void in which they are currently in it was then and only then did they hear a voice silk and smooth hissing almost as if it was a snake.
"Open your eyessss child,"
Doing what they were told to do whether they had control to or not the eyes opened widening in fright as for standing there over top of them was a figure of nightmares, standing six, seven maybe even eight feet tall was a creature with ivory white skin two dark holes where the eyes should have been and an elongated nose. Struck by fear a hand shot down to their side. reaching for a weapon in which wasn't there panic had begun to sit in without a weapon they were defenseless the creature could do to them what it wished, with no other option they opened their mouth to try and scream but yet nothing had come out they were voiceless they were at the mercy of the creature above them in that moment the creature spoke once again.
"Do not worry child for I won't hurt you for I am Fate,"
With a bow the creature spoke, raising back to its full height it stuck a handout to them to take the hand had elongated fingers looking as if blood had stained the tips of the creatures fingers. Looking at the creature's hand, realizing that they had no other choice, questions began to spring into their mind: was this creature truly what fate looked like? Where was the creature going to take them? Hell, it didn't matter where the creature name "Fate" took them for they had failed to save the world, their mother dead and gone, their sister gone as if she had been whipped off the face of this world, or worst of all the woman in which they swore to serve and protect dead gone by their own hand.
"Do not worry child for I am not a monster."
There they stood they couldn't speak; they couldn't reply to the creature.... They didn't even know where in the hell they were let alone why they were being visited by a creature of nightmares; they knew they needed to act fast. As if on instinct a hand reached for their blade feeling nothing no sword? Where the hell was their blade, that is when the creature laughed and spoke with an almost mocking them.
"Do not try to reach for your beautiful blade for in this realm I am in control."
Hopefully the creature would kill them quickly hoping the creature didn't get sick satisfaction from torture, so with no other option gathering up whatever courage they had left within them they placed their hand within that of the creatures. As the hands made contact, they closed their eyes feeling as if they were being pulled apart not wanting to open their eyes knowing that the feeling of Nausea was upon them, steadying themselves looking at their surroundings there in front of them was a tree root a root to a tree in which they have seen many of times one that would bloom beautiful Dragon fang upon it.
But the once beautiful tree now lay nothing but rot and decay, looking up seeing a beautiful midnight sky but instead of a normal moon there sitting in the sky was a crimson moon. The creature "Fate" came into view again getting their attention once again, watching as the creature reached down and into the tree's trunk watching as the creature pulled itself back up to its full height it turned around holding a silver tether letting it float freely above its hand just as they were about to question the creature, they felt themselves being pulled back to wherever their body was at. Awakening in a cold sweat bolting up scrambling to the head of the bed pulling their legs up to their chest slowly rocking back and forth allowing a lonely tear to fall from one eye something about the creature made them think of their mother allowing themselves to claim down they decided to head to the washroom.
Within the washroom allowing the water to run over their body and looking into the crystal hanging upon the room there stands a half elf with purple eyes and striking silver hair, and sickly pale skin. Looking over the scar that stretched from the lower part of their left eye all the way down the left side of their body remembering when they got the scar some years ago, it was about that time that they had also got the mark of the Phoenix upon their forearm knowing that sleep would not be overtaking them anymore. Jax decided to gather their sword as well as the little armor in which they wore and head out to the training ground of the tower.
