ᓚᘏᗢ- I have had scary dreams almost every night since i remember myself. Dreams so terrifying i would wake up in cold sweat, with my heart pounding. Nightmares have been a part of me, but some have been rooted in my mind, not wanting to leave. The scariest dreams by a big difference, are the ones were you know you are asleep, and from which you can not escape. I remember 3 of these dreams, first my mum was trying to wake me up but i was so deep in sleep, she couldn't. She thought i wouldn't wake up. I remember this old man from that dream, he told me i wasn't allowed to wake up.

Second time i got stabbed in the back by some friends, i remember my dad freaking out because i wouldn't wake up, but when i did he was confused because of the scratches on my back.

Third dream, every time i would "wake up", i would found out it was but a trap, i was still asleep. It went on for days. I would wake up, go on with my day, just too see something, that definitely wasn't real, faceless people, eyes in the trees... Back to bed, i would wake up, this time it would take longer for me to notice i was still asleep. Days and weeks passed, but i was still in a dream. I woke up after all these failed attempts, and until now, i am pretty sure i am awake... Or am i?

But the scariest dream by far was one i had one time every year, since i was a child. Every year at the ends of August to the beginnigs of September, i would wait for it, being afraid to sleep... (you will see in the end why i include this dream chapter)

It took place in my village, second floor of our house. Only some candles lit up the room, that eary fealing was talking over me. I tried to go downstairs, only to see this hairless, humanoid creature on all fours, smiling... When it spotted me, it's head cracked and was now upside down. It crawled up the stairs like a spider, it caught me, it devoured me, i could hear my bones cracking, i could see myself get eaten alive. I woke up.

I thought it was over, until next year came. Same place, this time i knew i shouldn't go downstairs. I moved towards the balcony, to see if there are other people, but no one was there. I tried to go back inside, but vines started growing, they grabbed me, i could feel them tightening around my body. They were growing taller and thicker. I managed to move away from them, i managed to escape, only to be caught by the same disgusting creature. I woke up.

Next Time i went straight to the door that leads outside. I started running, i could hear screams and cries of children, invisible hands would try to grab me, but i managed to get to the center of the village. "Hello?!" i called out. Ice-cream truck music started playing, it sounded like pop goes the weasel. A person, i thought, and i was right! There was an ice-cream truck which weirdly enough sold meat, and a man was standing there. He was fat, bald, with a giant smirk planted on his face. His white apron, stained. "Hello dear, how may i help?" he asked in a weird voice, almost like he was possesed. I took a look behind him. Jars. Lots of jars, full of what seemed like organs and eyes. Human ones "O-Oh nothing sir. I-I was just passing by. T-Thank you tho" i managed to stutter. I turned around and walked away, trying to look as normal as possible. I managed to go all the way to the corner, but as they say curiosity killed the cat. I stole a final look of the truck. The man smirked at me, a smirk as wide as the Cheshire cat's, and the truck spun around, only to reveal a giant spider, that sprinted towards me, i was frozen in fear, eyes wide and teary. The spider got to me, started wrapping me in it's web, and stabbed my eyes with its legs. I woke up.

Next year, i took all the previous steps again, this time the man waved at me as i was walking past, a new jar took place behind him, that of two grey eyes, my eyes. I walked and walked, trying to find a safe place. I reached the playground behind the church. I'll be safe, i thought. The playground was misty and dark. The wind was slowly howling, the moon was bright. It was so quiet, that each of my steps would be heard. I went to the swings and sat down, only to notice a young girl already sitting on one. She looked like a doll. She was so petite, with a pink dress full of dirt, she was barefoot, and her dark hair was a mess. "Hi! Why are you here alone, so late at night?" i asked with no answer. "I'm Kleo, what's your name?" i asked with a smile, still no answer. I started swinging not minding the girl. The swing was creaking, her singing broke the silence. Her voice was very pretty, but somehow scary. After a while she lifted her head up, her hair revealing the doll she was holding, earlier hidden. Such a pretty doll. I was surprised when it slowly turned to look at me. It had no eyes. I gulped. A loud scream left my lips, when the girl turned to me, only for my eyes to meet two empty sockets. I woke up.
