Finally I am done cleaning the house. Throwing the wet cloth into the bucket, she wiped the sweat from her forehead. My waist... That blobfish made me do all the work instead of hiring housekeepers. Though this place is small compared to that house but it still is big enough for a single person to clean.

Picking up the bucket, she went to the bathroom. How many more inane things is he planning on making me do? ...While I am at it I should go and see the garden too. She thought while emptying the bucket. Who knows when he might tell me to clean the garden too?

Wrapping up the things inside, she headed out. The sky was filled with clouds with sunrays peeking from between them.

A sudden gust of wind moved the dead leaves from their resting place. The winds are starting to get cold.

Looking around the spacious yard, she found the home of the dead leaves, the huge loquat tree. A perfect place to take a nap after all the tiring work. She went around the yard, looking at the overgrown hedges which separated her from the outside world.

I should probably call someone to cut these and... Whoa, what are these doing here? She crouched down looking at the beautifu, maroon dahlias along with the roses.

How come they have not withered? She admired the beauty of the flowers while questioning if he hired someone to take care of the garden or not. After a while of admiring, she weeded the flower bed and collected the dead leaves in a pile.

She roamed around the yard for quite some time, looking around to familiarise herself with the surroundings and then sat under tha loquat tree. I will rest here for a minute and then head inside. Was what she thought but warm sunlight and the cool breeze made her rest there longer than she thought.

Indulged in her phone she didn't notice the change in the weather until a gust of cold wind made her look around. Dark clouds filled the sky as the winds started to blow. All of a sudden it started to rain.

Shit... Why did it start to rain all of a sudden? Covering her head, she ran towards the front door. Wasn't the weather calm a minute ago? Whatever I should change my clothes and then... Why isn't the door opening?

Her eyebrows furrowed in surprise as she turned the handle again to open the door. Why isn't it opening? She tried again but the door didn't budge.

Am I perhaps dreaming? She thought pinching herself and grimacing in pain. Why the fuck isn't the door opening?

After trying again she noticed that the door was a self locking one and she needed a key to open that. Wow... I am locked outside the house and that too in heavy rainfall. It's giving me the vibe of Indian soap operas...

She looked around the front door thinking that by chance there might be a spare key laying hidden under a rock or the doormat but to her dismay there was none.

Fine... I am gonna break this door. She picked up a big rock and was about to smash the door when she stopped midair. He is gonna give an earful if I did this. She lowered the rock. But it's raining heavily and I can get sick. Raising the rock again she stood in front of the door.

Maybe I should give him a call and tell him the situation before doing something. Throwing the rock down she called Shrey.

His phone screen lit up, diverting his attention from the presentation. Taking a quick look at the caller id he declined the call. Seconds later the screen lit up again. He declined it and she called again. What is wrong with her? Annoyed by the disturbance, he excused himself from the meeting and picked up the call.
