CHAPTER 3 OF LOVE IS FULL OF SURPRISES

Recap I felt someone’s arms wrap around my waist. They comforted me and made me relax and calm down almost immediately. I looked up to see that it was no other than jerk-face.

I jumped out of his arms and ran up to my bedroom. I flung the door open to realize that there were duffel bags already packed with my clothes in them, I’m guessing for me to take with me, I guess I didn’t notice them before, to bad I’m not going. I am not leaving this house. I can’t leave my mother. I cant have her go through all of that pain again. that’s like hitting replay for when your heart was broken by the guy you though that you loved. I watched my mother go through that with my- my father. I don’t want to get hurt, what I saw my dad do to my mother, making her go through all that pain, she really did love him, she didn’t deserve for him to break her like that.

Love, it cant be trusted, all you get from it is pain and hurt.

I stalked over to my bed and threw some of the few duffel bags that were on it across the room. I flung myself onto the mattress and grabbed a pillow and screamed at the top of my lungs in frustration in it. Why me?

I heard 3 soft knocks on my door. I groaned as a ‘come in’ gesture, not wanting to speak, and they didn’t seem to get the idea.

“ what” I snapped at the closed door.

The door opened revealing no other than jerk face.

“ ugh, what” I repeated throwing my face back in the pillow.

“ I didn’t have a say in this either, but when my dad makes a deal he intends to keep it, there is no way around it” asshole stated. I need to learn this boys name for crumbs sake.

“shy flant shu shalk em inhoo-” I was cut off mid sentence with jerk-face saying “ um I have no clue what your saying”. I groaned and lifted my head up and repeated what I had been saying.

“ why cant you talk him into not taking me away” he frowned. I put a confused look on my face.

“ get your bags we have to go, here I will help” he then got up from my bed and grabbed four duffel bags, two on each shoulder, dang strong much? I grabbed the last two, but before I walked out the door, I grabbed my favorite picture of me and my mom together. We had our arms around each others shoulders and were smiling in the summer sun.

“ tracy, you coming?” jerk-face asked me

“ yeah, I’m right behind you’ I said as I stuffed it in one of the duffel bags. I closed the door behind me and walked down the hallway. This was the house I grew up in, with all my childhood memories in it, I mean I know I would have to face this day some day but not this soon. I guess time catches up to you without you realizing it.

“ ah Ms, Williams are you ready?” jerk-faces father asked me with a smile on his face.

I forced a smile upon my face and nodded my head, and said “ please call me tracy”

I ran over to my mom and hugged her like my life depended on it. I was gonna miss her

“ mom, don’t you worry, this wont be the last your gonna see of me. I love you. Take care of yourself alright. Goodbye mother.” she cupped my face with both of her hands and had a sappy smile on her face.

“ I love you too sweetheart” and that was all she said before I was pulled away from her arms.

I hoped I was dreaming although I know I unfortunately wasn’t. I was now in the car with jerk-face seated next to me, and with his father driving the car. Although he was so hot, I still wasn’t gonna be ms. Nice-gal, or at leats until I know he isn’t like one of those players who thinks that they can have any girl they want. News flash, ya aint getting me, even if your father demands it.
