Sorin paced inside the dining room after Asteria left. He had sent the guards out a while ago because he wanted to be left alone. He had come to dinner after a meeting with his council. They had all tried to make him agree to choose a woman to have a child with. They thought he needed an heir as soon as possible. He had argued against it and stalked out of the meeting only to run into Daniel. She was a blonde hair, blue eyes woman that he regularly used as an entertainer at night. She had offered herself to him and suggested that he use her to make an heir. As soon as she said that he knew the council was involved and he pushed her away. The woman had chased after him down the hallway. Then he goes to dinner only to see Asteria with long black hair and a silver gown that could trick him into thinking it was see through. He had stared at her the entire time they had eaten and when a knock on the door interrupted them he knew it was because Tess was needed. She was always being called away which was partially the reason he had wanted her here. After she had left and he was left alone with Asteria a bright burning need had built within him. She challenged him, fought him, and disrespected him. That fearlessness made him want her to surrender herself fully to him. He wanted to know if she would still be as fiery if he made her his. Then he kissed her. She tasted like honey and lavender. It was intoxicating and he wanted to rip the dress off her....

She bit his tongue and he almost snapped. He could taste the blood from his lip and wanted nothing more than to throttle her. But she stood defiantly in front of him like warrior Goddess and his desire had flared again. When she had left he had let her and sent the guards away. Now he was stuck frustrated and alone. He pressed his face against the glass wall and looked out into the forest. He wanted to hunt, no, he needed to hunt. There was too much energy and frustration pumping through him and his beast wanted out. Sorin needed release and a hunt would have to do. His thoughts went back to Asteria and he wondered what it was like to hunt her. How had the Master managed it when she was so strong? Even a Raven wouldn't be able to defeat her and he had known it. The Master had sent for him and given her away for almost nothing. He had no idea the treasure that he had found. Sorin closed his eyes and imagined chasing Asteria through the forest. She would run for a while before she had to turn and fight him. He bet she was ruthless and clever. It would be a rush to hunt her and in the end he'd make her belong to him in every way possible.

He groaned and pushed away from the glass. Sorin decided he needed to leave and now. He stalked out of the room and several guards shadowed him knowing not to get to close when he was like this. He walked outside the palace and through the gate. His let go and changed into his beast. Very few women could transform and when they did it was usually as a domestic animal. He stood proud in his other form and took off running. There was a herd of moose in the forest and he needed to sink his teeth into something. The power of his form seared through him like a brand. He roared and enjoyed the feeling of his paws against the ground. He was truly a King in this world and right now he needed to satisfy his needs. The smell of moose was not far away and excitement coursed through his viens. He wanted only one thing right now and it replaced every other need....
