I have been living with barley for a couple weeks now. The round, fluffy tom is sweet and protective. But i fear, i fear everyday that tigerclaw will find me and slaughter me. i fear everyday everynight that he might know were i am.
A DREAM.
I saw a siluette of a broad cat slowly aproaching -my vision was blurred. i could here violent screams -like cats being massacared. I was horrified -was i going to die? the broad cat approached me. could it be? my eyes widened in fear. i saw the striped tom. the cat that had killed redtail infront of me! the look of ecstasy painted on his striped face. the smell of blood filled my nose -it was repulsive. "Hah, you really think you could hide from me? Pathetic. I almost felt bad for you, but you're just too stupid." His face went from a grin to a violent exprestion; his teeth clenched and eyes large. He slashed his claws against my face, killing me instantly.
"ahhhhh."
I woke up. it was just a dream. but could it be a message from the starclan? No, could it? My pelt was hot. i felt sick. "What is it, Ravenpaw?"
"I had a dream. Tigerclaw was there, it was horrifying!"
"There, there, it was just a dream. calm down" the tom said.
"But it felt so real"
"Its gonna be alright. if tigerclaw tries to kill you, i will sit on him 'til he colapses like a rabbit!"
i laughed a bit. Barley began licking my ears and chest -it calmed me down a bit. Barley laid down next to me. "Now sleep, it will be a while until the sun rises"
Barley nuzzeled into my fur. I fell asleep in a few minutes after that. My last thought was i could trust Barley with my life
