blinking in your lustre: cygnus personified,
mapped in the fullness of skies, soaking the obsidian.
you stretch out further north on wings over empty space,
quivering the firmament with sublime magnificence.whether or not you were born from the breath of speckled stars,
you shall never rival the luminescence of wandering city lights.yea, bestow upon me a moiety of your metaphysical heart
that i may learn the vernaculars of your starry soul.
grace me, for i could only decipher the tenacity embedded,
following your scintilla in the light-studded darkness you call home.will you ever reach zenith like the neighbouring sun,
even if it requires aeons to be done?
