The App That Whistles Back

(Jin's POV)

"So are we filming a bon voyage? Or are we just working on music?" Taehyung asked as we sat around the dining table, talking to Si-Hyuk Hyung.

"It's whatever you want. You all were released from the Military over two weeks ago. ARMYs are awaiting your return. But you decide what you want to do." He said to us. One of many reasons we stuck with our company was because of this man. Majority of the staff, and Bang PD himself were our greatest supporters. In an industry where company heads are always in it for themselves and will go as far as hiring Sasaengs secretly for profit.... Thank the gods we had Bang PD. He wasn't about that. Obviously as a company they had to make money, and Mr Park was good at handling that. On our side of things though, we made products ARMYs wanted, and asked for. We did things for ARMY, though some things we'd have to ask them to pay for, of course. It took money to do these things, and our staff needed and deserved to be paid well for their hard work.

"I think we should do a live. Maybe not right now, but we should certainly do one. This is our first time staying in America for an extended amount of time like this. We should definitely do one tomorrow or something." Namjoon offered up his opinion. It was just that. An Opinion and an option, Namjoon wasn't the type to pressure us unless it was really needed- even then, he would explain why it was needed. We could never be mad at a leader who honestly cares about what's truly best... but also what we want.

"I want to do a live stream tomorrow. We could have snacks and talk with ARMY... shit, it's been so long. We know they've been worried about us." Taehyung added to the conversation.

"If that's what the seven of you decide, then that's what you should do. How goes the soulmate searching?" Bang Si-Hyuk asked us.

"Well, we've been signed up for a week, we got some matches... in the 80 percent range." Yoongi chimed in. This was one thing I noticed he seemed to be looking forward to the most. Honestly, we all were. No matter who our soulmate was..

"Uh, we all matched with each other. And we got some extra matches too. I got a few girls and guys in the 85 percent range. Apparently that's pretty good. But the 'starlight' ones are the ones who are the best match. And I got the six others for mine." Jungkook spoke up, he was on his phone so I assumed he was looking at the app. He showed his phone to us and I took my cell out to look at it. As soon as I opened the app, the notification thing chimed and blinked at me. I tapped it and it opened, revealing my list of matches. Sure enough, this starlight matches were indeed the six other members. As we sat there, staring at our phones, my notification blinked again. I tapped it, and the list of matches refreshed. Seven starlight matches.... Wait.. seven?

"Holy shit... another starlight match, what does that mean?" Jimin asked, apparently he got the same thing.

"Starlight matches are the best possible matches. They have the highest percent. It means they're most likely our soulmates." Namjoon explained. "If we want to be sure.. We need the wrist device. Which we should be getting soon." He added.

"So we are each other's soulmates... most possibly, AND we all just got another match.. Is it a girl?" Jimin asked.

"Did we get the same girl?" Yoongi looked up from his phone, each of us were looking around at the others.

"Well, you should have that person's information on the app." Bang PD added, we almost forgot he was still on call with us. I clicked on the new match. A prompt popped up, asking if I wanted to view this match's profile. I tapped yes.

"Female... 29... Boston born... lives there still... freelance artist. Available pictures- none. Hm... likes volunteering at the children's hospital, loves spending time with family and friends, wants to be a mom one day...." Taehyung started to read off the profile.
