NOAH ALSTON

"that was so weird. i mean he just stared at the both of you with that weird expression on his face." caroline rambled as we continued to walk down the hallway, heading to the cafeteria for lunch.

"i hate to admit this but.. caroline is right. i mean i'm getting weird vibes from him." bonnie agreed with caroline. elena and i looked at each other before shaking our heads.

"i'm sure he didn't mean to look at us like that. he's new.. maybe he's just nervous. like noah, you're new and you're nervous right?" i looked at elena for a second before responding.

"yeah, for sure. he's probably just nervous." we then made it to the cafeteria before finding a table to sit down at.

"do you guys wanna go to the mystic grill tonight? you know.. a girl's night?" caroline asked excitedly as she glanced at all of us, waiting for our responses.

"yeah, that sounds fun. bonnie? noah?" elena waited for our responses. bonnie nodded, a small smile on her face. caroline clapped her hands in excitement as they waited for my answer.

"sure, i mean i don't see why not." i smiled seeing all of them so excited. i'm glad that i was able to make friends on the first day.

i was getting ready to go out with my new friends. i'm not gonna lie, i was super excited. i looked through my closet, having no idea what to wear. 'should i wear a dress? or is that too much? maybe jean shorts and a crop top?' i thought to myself, being indecisive.

in the end, i ended up choosing the jean shorts and crop top. i put on a pair of white converse before looking in the mirror. 'what should i do with my hair?' i continued to stare at myself for a minute, trying to figure out what to do with my hair.

i let out a sigh, grabbing my brush and gently brushing my hair. i decided to just leave it down. "noah! your friends are here!" i heard my mom shout from the bottom of the stairs.

"be down in a sec!" i responded, placing my brush down on my dresser before applying a bit of perfume and then grabbing my phone.

i made it to the bottom of the stairs, seeing the three of them standing there, talking to my mom. "noah! you look so pretty!" elena said, causing me to smile.

"thank you. you all look gorgeous too." they all smiled. "okay, you all be safe now. don't be out too late!" i gave my mom a hug. "don't worry mom, we'll be back by ten." i gave her a quick kiss on the cheek before heading out the door with them.

"bonnie's driving!" caroline shouted as we all got into the car. bonnie started the engine as we all put our seatbelts on. we drove off, heading to the mystic grill.

STEFAN SALVATORE

"damon, they looked exactly like katherine and genevieve. they were identical." i paced around the living room of the boarding house.

damon sighed before taking a sip of his bourbon. "stefan, how is that even possible? what is this? some doppelgänger shit?" i stopped pacing before looking at him.

"it must be. unless it's them using fake names.. to get their revenge on us." damon snarled. "little brother.. they both died, remember? we watched them die." i rubbed my face, feeling stressed.

"i just don't understand. like there's not even a small difference between them. the only thing that's different are their names." damon took another sip of his bourbon.

"well brother, what are their names anyway?" i thought for a moment. "elena and noah i believe." damon furrowed his eyebrows. "noah? interesting name for a girl. i like it." i rolled my eyes at his words.

"stefan, you need to relax. why don't we go for a drink?" i just stared at him. "come on stef.. you know you wanna." i sighed, ultimately knowing he was right.

NOAH ALSTON

"we are all limited to one drink each. bonnie is our personal uber driver and i don't feel like getting into a car accident." caroline said, the rest of us agreeing with her.

we walked inside the mystic grill, finding a table for us to sit at, soon ordering our drinks. "so noah, how do you like it here so far?" elena asked me with a smile. "honestly, i didn't think i was gonna like it here. but so far, it's really nice." they all smiled.

"that's great. i'm glad we have another friend in our group." caroline said, playing with a strand of her blonde hair. soon, our drinks arrived at the table.

"um.. what the hell?" bonnie said, her gaze towards the entrance of the mystic grill. "is that the new kid from our history class? and who is that with him?" we all looked in that direction.

"oh my.. they are both so hot." we all shook our heads at caroline. we watched them walk over to the bar before sitting down and ordering some drinks.

"okay ignore them. we are here for a girls night. not to obsess over some guys we don't even know." ultimately, elena was right. we were here to have fun. not mess around with some guys.

"noah, tell us more about yourself. we don't know much about you yet." i smiled at bonnie. "well, what do you guys wanna know?" i waited for them to respond. they all looked at each other, thinking of what to ask me.

"let's start with the basics. favorite color, favorite food, favorite animal." caroline said. they all continued to look at me, waiting for me to respond. "well my favorite colors are pink and orange. preferably like a hot pink and a neon orange. i think those colors look so cute together."

"my favorite food would have to be pizza. basic, i know, but like who doesn't love pizza? and my favorite animal are cats. they are just so adorable. i wish i had a cat. maybe i'll get a kitten soon—" i stopped talking, my face turning red.

"um.. i'm sorry. am i rambling too much?" i asked, playing with a strand of my hair. they all looked at me concerned. "what? no! we are happy that you feel this comfortable around us already. don't apologize, noah. we asked you questions and you answered them. nothing to be sorry about." elena said as she put her arm around my shoulder.

"yeah, elena's right. you don't need to apologize. why are you sorry anyways?" bonnie asked, a concerned look on her face. i sighed, biting my bottom lip.

"i had friends in florida.. well, i don't know if you could call them friends. but, i always used to rant on and on to them about almost everything and they would get annoyed. i only had like four real friends down there. i just don't wanna annoy you guys." i said, biting the inside of my cheek.

they all looked at me with upset expressions. "noah, you can rant to us about anything any time you feel like it. we will be here to listen." elena said, her tone soft. i smiled, feeling grateful to already be friends with such real people.
