{chapter 10} how not to fail

the next afternoon f/n was sneaking in to the wonderland stage with nene to try and get her robo-nene back. 

"were no better than rui, sneaking in here..." nene stated. 

"well it's for a good reason, we couldn't just leave her behind!" f/n stated.

"i found her..! i'm sorry for leaving you behind after making you perform in my place..." nene apologized to the robot. it seems to matter a lot to her. though how things ended after all f/n doesnt blame her. 

nene seemed to pause and think about something for a while. 

"i'm sorry, robo-nene. you won't have to perform anymore." nene said to robo-nene. she just kept staring at it and it made f/n feel guilty. i mean she wouldn't be feeling like this if tsukasa didn't yell at her. why did f/n hang out with him. hopefully he has a good plan to apologize to her. 

"oh." nene stated looking at the stage. 

"the stage is actually quite big isn't it? i guess i never noticed." f/n commented. 

"your highness, please allow me to take care of this. i shall sing to the dragon." nene suddenly started practicing her lines. "——♪" nene sang. f/n giggled when she finished and start clapping for her performance. 

"i really miss acting.." nene stated. 

"you don't have to give up you know-" f/n started but then we suddenly heard an excited voice. 

"i swear i heard someone singing! oh!" the voice said and they turned to see emu and tsukasa. 

"nene?! f/n?!" tsukasa exclaimed. 

"!!" nene seem shocked. 

"wh-why are you... i mean... i...i'm sorry!" nene exclaimed and suddenly powered on nene and turned on the transportation option. we both got on and ran off with robo nene. 

"nene, f/n,  waaaaaait!" emu exclaimed trying to catch up to us. 

"no... no, no, no, no!" nene said nervously and sped up. 

"nene he probably just wants to apologize i'm sure he isn't planning anything harmful." f/n told her. 

"it's not that i'm worried about.." she stated, f/n frowned, i'm certain that's what she is worried about. "they're not here? ...good. i must have shaken them off." she said. 

"nene! f/n! where are you! come out!" tsukasa exclaimed.

"oh no, they still haven't given up?! we have to get out of here! we're almost at the main gate. just a little farther..." nene stated.

"nene we should ju-" f/n said before getting cut off by emu jumping down from the top gate.

"she jumped down from the top gate!?!?" nene exclaimed.

"i got you both now!" emu exclaimed.

"good job capturing them emu!" tsukasa said. 

"oh, are you okay, nene? i didn't hurt you, did i?" emu asked nene, although she just stayed silent. 

"nene, listen! I decided to..." tsukasa started before nene gasped.

"i get it... you don't want to talk to me after all the mean things i said to you... you don't have say anything, but please listen to what i have to say. i'm really sorry about yesterday. i lashed out because i was so crushed when the show didn't go as planned. but i should've realized that you felt far worse than I did. i'm really sorry." tsukasa apolgized although nene stayed silent. f/n thought it was a good apology although it wasn't hers to forgive.
