"Good morning ma'am.." When days start with their happy cheerful voice, I can't but smile to myself too.
"Good morning everyone.." I gave a warm smile to everyone and walked towards my cabin.
"Ma'am you are looking too good!" One of my female employees exclaimed and I smiled.
Didn't know a simple chiffon saree could bring me a compliment in the morning.
"Thank you! You too!!" I exclaimed.
And she blushed.
Then on reaching my Cabin,
I dial Vriddhi's number, and call her inside.
She comes in no time.
"Yes ma'am.. Anything you need?" She asked.
"Yeah I need to talk about something important. Close the door and bring the files."
As instructed, she leaves the room to bring the files and her laptop and gets seated on the chair facing me.
"Ma'am before you start.. There's a good news again.."
"And what is it?"
"We have a new investor!"
"Wow that's good! Who are they?"
"Ma'am Kulkarni Enterprises... They sent a confirmation mail today morning as they had promised."
"Dikhao.. " I say and Vriddhi opens up the mail box, searches for their mail and turns the laptop to me.
"Here ma'am.."
"Hmm.. That's good!" I say, overlooking through the mail.
Vriddhi and I exchanged a smile.
"Ma'am annual summit is due in 7 months... " Vridhhi reminded.
"Yeah.. So?"
"I mean.. Hume top position mein aane ki koshish karni chahiye.."
"Ha Vriddhi.. Koshish to hum kar rahe hai na?? Aur touchwood our company is doing great.. Ab annual summit ke liye kuch zyada karne ki zarurat nahi hai.."
"Ma'am but the ones who get the first three positions are given a certain amount of life time investment.." Vriddhi tried to justify herself.
"Yes. I know that.. Of course it would be of great help if that really happens with us.. Yet I won't force on my people that bad.. They already have their own lives and some even have families to look after.. If everything goes smoothly as it is going now.. I can assure we can stand head held high on the night of annual summit." I explained.
"How are you so good ma'am?" Vriddhi asks chuckling.
"Well genes say it.." And we both broke out into a laughter.

I was busy on a business phone call when Shweta stands in the entrance to my cabin.
"Sir.. " She uttered and i looked up at her. I gestured my hand in asking her to wait for a minute and she nods.
I finished the phone call and asked her to come in.
She sat on the chair facing my table.
"Sir we have prepared the entire chart.."
"Wow.. That was quick.. Show!" I said, exclaiming with happiness.
