It's dark it's lonely it's scary but I kept walking telling myself it's ok it was in my head. So excited to get home to eat my greasy food I took the shortcut instead of going on Madison Ave. I took the alley behind belly up bbq stand which would make my house about 10 minutes closer. About to be home I return Marks text from earlier watching the three dots on the screen dance back and forth wam! The graffiti on the parked truck was gibberish to me, my head was pounding and my outfit was ruined by the dirty road. After some time went by I realized I had been attacked the blood trickling down my face covering my eyes my mouth dripping down off my chin I started panting felt like my heart was falling out of my chest. Panicked to stop the blood I took my shoe off and used my sock to soak up the blood. I wanted to scream for help but nothing would come out except for tears and blood. I reached for my phone that was laying in a puddle to see if it worked to my surprise it worked! I called 911 first then I dialed everyone I knew that would rush over to help. I closed my eyes until help arrived I came to while being lifted into the ambulance all these faces hanging over me speaking medical talk which was a foreign language to me. My vitals were good and nothing was broken just a head wound that needed to be stapled back together.
