Artemis Pov
After a few minutes of silence and walking around the woods with me in the lead we heard a painful scream that was enough to sent chills to my bone.
"Did you guys hear that too?" I asked instantly freezing in my place.
"Yeah, it Kinda sounded like Theia." Alecto added
"Guys stop being ridiculous, its probably nothing to be concerned about." Olympia said even though she herself seemed a little worried by this point as well.
After a while we all decided to finally shut up, stop creeping ourselves out even more than we already are and just get the hell out of these damned woods, well that was until we forgot which way we came from.
Theia's Pov:
With a massive pain in the back of my head everything went black.
I kept asking myself questions over and over like 'God why does this always have to happen to me?' and 'What the hell is going to happen to me?' Finally after what felt like forever I woke up but yet again I was in a completely different scenery, I was in the freaking woods again.
"How the hell did I get here?" I mumbled to myself standing up and looking around my still almost pitch black surroundings a bit more and saw a note on a tree, from this distance I couldn't make out the writing, I thought that maybe it could be a sign telling me how the hell to get out of these woods of hell. I slowly walked up to the sign.
'I hope you're ready for our game of murder in the dark?' It read.
The man's words hit me like a brick, I wasn't getting out of this as easily as I had hoped. I heard a few heavy footsteps maybe a couple of metres behind me and bolted for my life without even looking behind me to see who it was, I was so scared that I didn't even bother to look at where I was going the only thing going through my mind at the moment was the fact that I had to get the hell out of here and now, something that I was about to regret right about now, I ran into something or more like someone and fell to the ground, curiosity got the better of me and I looked up to see the same man from the room with an evil smirk on his face that was enough to scare the living hell out of me as I took in his figure a bit more I saw that he was wearing a bloodstained baggy shirt, sweatpants and some muddy nike shoes but I didn't scream until I saw the massive axe swiftly coming down at me. Adrenaline kicked in and I rolled to the left as quickly as I possibly could, but not even that was enough to stop the axe from coming in contact with my skin, there was an unbearable pain in my shoulder crying in both excruciating pain and fear I looked over at my right shoulder to see blood falling down my arm at a quick pace, the axes blade had gone clear through my shoulder with no problem whatsoever, I could see the bone at this moment and I wanted to throw up so badly but I knew that probably wasn't my best option at the moment so I held it in.
"Ahh this one's gonna put up a bit of a fight now is she?" The man asked but it was more like a rhetorical question so I didn't answer.
"We like someone who puts up a bit of a fight, but we hope you know that you're not going to win this game" He continued with a cold laugh at the end of his sentence. He started to advance on me again and I screamed hoping to god that someone would hear me even though I knew that no one ever was, I guess it was what little false hope I had left, as I continued to scream and beg for him to stop his laugh seemed to get even more sadistic. He was beyond terrifying me at the moment, I don't even think that there is actually a word in the dictionary to describe the amount of fear and pain coursing through my body at the moment, as he kept slowly advancing on me I painfully got up as fast as I possibly could with the amount of pain I was currently in and turned then I just ran as fast as I could knowing that he was close behind as I could hear his sadistic laugh.
