"Woh officer KS hi thi?"
Shivani noded with a mixed expression.
"Dekho Shivani hum tumhari feelings ko hurt nahi karna chahte par hume nahi lagta ki woh tumhare liye sahi hain." HM said with little hesitation.
"Par kyun?"
"Ek baat batao, tumhe apne partner mein kya chahiye tha?"
"Yahi ki woh caring ho. Aur meri smile ki vajah bane."
"Lekin KS tumhare criteria mein bilkul fit nahi bethti. Bahut khadoos hain woh. Aur jis insan ko humne pichle ek hafte mein ek baar bhi muskurate nahi dekha, woh tumhari smile ki vajah kaise banega?" HM tried to explain her point.
"To main uski smile ka reason ban jaungi." SP smiled.
"Dekh agar koi insan kam bolta hai ya kam muskurata hai to iska matlab yeh to nahi ki woh dil ka bura hai. Ho sakta hai uske past mein kuch hua ho."
"Shivani tum unke liye bandage banne ki koshish kar rahi ho par yaad rakhna ghav bharne ke baad bandage ko phek diya jata hai."
"Uska bandage nahi banna hai, mujhe uske dil ka sukoon banna hai."
"Aur is raste par chal kar tumhe sirf dard mila to?"
"To ek raat jee bhar ke ro lungi, agle din sab normal ho jayega. Par mera dil kahta hai ki yahi woh shaks hai jiske sath main apni puri life bita sakti hun. Tu bas ek baar bharosa kar le, please."
SP said with the most innocent eyes. HM once look into them and then turn her head to other side.
"Tum yeh illigal move mat use kiya karo. Hum mana nahi kar pate hain." As HM completed SP came to her and kissed on her cheek.
"I love you."
"Kissie mat kiya kar."

HM called KS in afternoon.
"Aapne bulaya MS?" KS said while knocking the door.
"Ji. Bethiye."
"Koi kaam tha?"
"Nahi nahi kaam nahi tha humne to aapko yeh puchne ke liye bulaya tha ki aap settle ho gayi hain na yahan ya phir koi madad chahiye?"
"Kahan MS. DSP sir ne ek hafte pehle apartment ke liye kaha tha. Abhi tak alott nahi kiya. Abhi hotel mein hi thahre hain."
"Yeh to badi problem hai. KS jahan tak hume pata hai aapko apartment milne mein kam se kam ek mahina lagega. Uske baad bhi koi guarantee nahi hai."
KS start to think what to do. HM smiled seeing her plan working.
"To hum kya kare?"
"Humari mane to aap rent par koi room le lijiye. Humari ek dost hai, Shivani. Woh bata rahi thi uske ghar mein ek room khali hai. Aap kahe to baat kare usse."
"Thik hai agar unhe koi problem na ho to..."
"Problem? Use? Nice joke." HM think.
"Nahi use koi problem nahi hogi. Aap ek kaam kijiye Aaj sham ko hi shift ho jaiye."
"Ji."

KS decided to go to SP's house in evening. She was a person who doesn't like to interact with people. That's why she wanted to live in police quarters. But she can't deny her senior.
So, she packed her bag and turn her bike towards her destination.
SP's house-
I set the room for my love, kitna achha lagta hai na sunne mein. Bas use pasand aa jaye. Time to ho gaya aane ka, kahan rah gayi?
