HOW BEST TO WRAP UP A STORY that ended so well? There is not much else to tell to bring it to a close. Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann were reunited after spending nineteen years apart; Amara and Jack Sparrow were finally together and were setting sail on their next great adventure, and Lyla Sparrow and Henry Turner were beginning their own lives together.

It sufficed to say that Henry and Lyla married nearly a year after tracking down the trident of Poseidon, with their families present to see them united in holy matrimony. Jokes were cracked and rum was drank and the night passed quicker than either of them could remember. Their wedding brought together the legacies of two reigning families in the pirate world, and it was clear to everyone in attendance that this was a union that had been destined since the two of them were born.

A year after their wedding, Lyla gave birth to their first child; a son. After much debate on what to name him, William Hector Turner was finally given a name. With the legacy of Jack Sparrow's name surviving through his own son, it seemed only fitting for William Turner and Hector Barbossa to be remembered the same way.

The boy was raised by two parents that loved him dearly, grandparents on either side of his family doting on him as he grew, and he grew to love the sea the same way his family did. When he was old enough, and Lyla was ready to let him go, he joined Jack Sparrow and his cousin JJ on their adventures.

Lyla and Henry grew old together, as did their parents, and for a family that had seen so much hardship and endured that which many others could only dream of, it seemed only fair that destiny grant them a happy ending, which, fortunately, it did...
