"SO SHE'S SAYING SHE'S GOT THE MAP, but she's the only one who can follow it?"

Gibbs sounded confused as they stood around Carina the next morning, Lyla and Henry on either side of her. Carina had spent the night tracking the stars and searching for the map, and was currently scribbling in her diary.

"So we should shoot her?"

"Leave her be," Henry said. "She will take us to the trident."

"You've been saying that for hours," Gibbs said.

"Two things we know are true, eh?" Scrum interjected. "Yeah. Stars don't shine by day. And she forgot the donkey."

Henry looked at Lyla as if to say, This is seriously who your dad thinks you'd be good with? and what he got in response was a shrug from Lyla.

"How can we go to a spot where no land exists on any map?" Gibbs asked.

Carina sighed. "This chronometer keeps the exact time in London. I'm using it to make an altitude measurement to determine longitude. Only then will we find out exact spot at sea."

"So you expect to find the trident with a timepiece?" asked one of the crew members.

"Yes," Carina replied. "My calculations are precise and true. I'm not only an astronomer, I'm also a horologist."

The crew gasped and Jack shrugged. "No shame in that, dear. I mean, we all have to earn a living, eh?"

"No," Carina said. "No, I'm a horologist."

"So was my mum," Scrum said. "But she didn't crow about it as loud as you."

"Are you saying your mother was academically inclined?" asked Carina.

"More like, uh, horizontally reclined," Jack said.

"Horology is the study of time," Carina said.

"And she was always looking at her watch," Scrum said.

"I can vouch for that," Marty said.

"So no one can find the 'X' but you?" Jack asked. "Right?"

"No."

"And the donkey?" asked Scrum.

"Ship to the aft!" Gibbs suddenly shouted, making Jack jump.

Henry's eyes widened. "Salazar."

"Lovely," Lyla sighed.

"Jack, the dead will not rest until they get their revenge," Henry said.

"Dead?" Gibbs repeated. "No, no, the dead were never part of this deal."

"We shoulda never followed a luckless pirate and a witch to sea."

"Right, that's it. Kill 'em all."

"Kill me," Jack said. "And I'll be dead. And then the other dead won't be able to have their revenge against me, being dead."

"Which will anger them even more," Henry said. "He's right."

"That's right," Jack said.

"Are all pirates this stupid?" Carina asked.

"Yes," they all replied.

"What are we going to do?" Gibbs asked.

"As Captain, might I suggest..." Jack trailed off.

Lyla snapped her fingers. "Mutiny!"

"Where?" Jack asked, looking around frantically.

"No, not right now," Lyla replied. "But you lot," she gestured at the crew. "Are going to mutiny against us, take the ship and leave us. Understand?"
