It was Neev's CLAT examination day. He was well prepared and excited to face what was coming towards him.

*NEEV'S POV*

I paced around my room, textbooks scattered across my desk. My nerves were getting the best of me on this important exam day. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, and Samaira walked in with a reassuring smile. I cannot explain in words how much I wanted to see her today and wrap her in a tight hug.

Samaira came closer to me and wrapped her arms around my neck. I wrapped my arms around her waist, holding her tightly as if to draw strength from her presence. I could feel my anxiety slowly melting away, replaced by a calm brought by her touch.

"What if I mess up, Samaira? This exam is so important." I asked looking at her.

"You won't mess up. Just take a deep breath and believe in yourself. I believe in you." Samaira said, placing her hands on my shoulders.

I felt a warmth spread through me at her words. "Thanks, Samaira. I don't know what I'd do without you."

She smiled and pulled me into another long, comforting hug. "You don't have to find out," she whispered into my ear. My emotions are so complicated.

As we finally pulled apart, Samaira held my face in her hands. "Remember, no matter what happens, I'm proud of you." She said,as i placed a gentle kiss on her cheek.

*AUTHOR'S POV*

Neev grabbed his bag and turned to leave. "Good luck," Samaira called after him, her voice filled with genuine care.

On her way back home, Samaira joined her hands together and prayed silently. "Please, God, help Neev do his best. Keep him calm and focused. He deserves this."

Four hours later, Neev came back home with a big smile on his face. He knew he had done well on the exam and was confident he would get into his dream college.
As soon as he stepped inside, he ran to his mother and hugged her tightly. "Mom, I did it! Main is saal NLSIU jaunga" he exclaimed.

His mother smiled warmly and hugged him back. "I'm so proud of you, Neev. Itni mehnat Jo ki thi tune. God bless you."

He quickly had lunch, barely able to contain his excitement. Once he finished, he dashed up to his room and grabbed his phone. He eagerly opened a video chat with Samaira. When her face appeared on the screen, Neev couldn't help but grin. "Samaira! I did it! The exam went really well!"

He leaned closer to the screen, his excitement visible. "The questions were tough, but I remembered everything we studied. I felt confident and didn't panic. I'm sure I'll get into my dream college now."

Samaira clapped her hands in delight. "Mujhe toh pata hi tha...toh 'to be' vakeel sahab, zaroorat padi toh mera case ladoge?"

"Zaroor ladenge! Kyu nahi ladenge bhala?" He said with a smile on his face.

"Fees nagi dungi" samaira said, jokingly.

"Aap client ho toh main saamne se fees de doon" he said as samaira burst out laughing.

*3 MONTHS LATER*

The day had finally arrived. Neev was about to leave for Bangalore, and the weight of the moment hung heavy in the air. Despite their success in the board exams, the reality of their impending separation was hard to ignore. Neev had topped the humanities section with a stunning 98.2%, while Samaira had aced the science section with 96.5%. Their school had dubbed them the "power couple" of the 2024 batch, balancing love and academics effortlessly.

Neev stood outside his house, his luggage packed and ready. Samaira had come to see him off, her eyes already glistening with tears.

Neev looked at her, trying to muster a reassuring smile. "I know, Samaira. Bangalore bohot door hai but humare pass phones hain. We will be connected all the time"
