Lucifer POV:
It's been a few days since Lilith came back. I'm still not sure what to think. Do I still have feelings for her?
I look down at my wedding ring, my expression saddening. I should go talk to Charlie, she must be as confused as I am. I head over to her room and knock on the door. She opens it and smiles at me, letting me in.
"So..mom's back." I sigh.
"Yeah..how are you holding up about it? Since you didn't take the news so well when I told you she was in heaven. By the way, where's my daughter in law?" Charlie giggles at that.
"We're not married dad. But she's out for her weekly fighting lesson with Carmilla." I nod understanding.
"Well that answers my second question but what about my first?" I raise and eyebrow.
"Im..not sure. I'm still really mad at her for leaving us but, she was right. This hotel is about second chances so..I suppose she deserves one to." she forces a smile. I give her a weak smile back. Wait a minute.
"Hang on..Charlie, there's another part of the deal that Lilith made with Heaven." she raises an eyebrow questioningly, urging me to go on.
"I can't believe I'm just remembering this but, if someone were to try and stop exterminations then Lilith would have to come down from heaven and stop them from it." Charlies eyes widen upon realisation.
"Is she..is that all she's here for? Did she only come back to stop me from helping her people?" she slowly changes into her demon form.
"We don't know that for sure but..its a possibility. Let's just keep our guard up alright?" she calms down and nods her head.
I really hope I'm wrong about this.
Lilith POV:
"We don't know that for sure but..its a possibility. Let's just keep our guard up alright?" I hear him say. There catching on.. I have to be careful of how I go about this. Of course I do feel a little guilty doing this to my family but, if it's them or paradise? I choose paradise. I wasn't lying when I said I love them but someday they'll understand why I chose Heaven.
I'm sorry Charlie.
