The Last Straw - Chapter 7

Tails ran from the mall in excitement, this was the proof. This would convince Sonic. Shadow would be gone from both of there live's forever. He ran and ran, until he got to lab, a bit of editing and Sonic would totally be convinced. Tails smirked at the thought of them breaking up. After 20 minutes, his lab started coming into view. He edited the photo and printed off. He laughed to himself. He didn't think it would work so well. He stared at the photo, it looked so real.

Tails bolted as fast as he went, to there house. The minute he ran there, he pushed open the doors. He saw Sonic eating a pb&j sandwich, looking totally confused. "Wow, Tails, you didn't have to run so hard." Sonic stated, mid chew.

"You're one to talk, anyway I was walking around and..." Tails walked up and showed Sonic the photo. Sonic's eyes widen and he gasped. Sonic couldn't look away, he couldn't believe what he was seeing. He picked up the photo, a tear started to form. Sonic left to the other room, and shut the door. Tails snecked up and put his ear to the door.

"Shadow. It's over." Sonic stated with no emotion.

"Sonic please, it's not what it looks like!" Shadow yelled over the phone.

"I saw you smooching Amy! Tails showed me a photo!" Sonic yelled, this time with emotion.

"Let me explain!" Shadow pleaded. Tails started feeling a bit guilty.

"What is there to explain! You cheated on me!" Sonic started to sob, "Tails is right, you are just a bad person. You probably want me dead."

"Sonic, I love you! Amy fell-"

"WAS THIS YOUR PLAN? TO MAKE ME LOVE YOU? THEN CHEAT ON ME?!" Sonic shouted and cried.

"Sonic, please it was an accident-" Sonic ended the call. Tails felt even more guilty, Shadow didn't do anything wrong. Sonic cried even harder. This is what I wanted... Tails thought. Though Sonic's wails was the scariest thing he ever heard. He swallowed and went to bed. Though he didn't get a minute of rest. Sonic's cry was all he could here.

They really were in love.
