Why is it that we choose to save
the horrors that the world gave
to us to battle to the death
and instead we waste our very breath
out of amusement, love, and greed
just because we feel that need
to please another one of us
to only create another fuss
because someone's bound to disagree
and no matter what we're never free
of anyone, ourselves, and you
never do what fate says true
because free will is frowned upon
and pretty soon our true self is gone
and soon it will only be too late
to save ourselves from our self hate.
