Chapter 5

             Continuing~

Okay but the real reason Kinn and Porsche sent the kids away ? They wanted to have a peaceful home date. It was already scheduled. But the return was honestly very unexpected for Kinn.

On the other hand...
Kim returned to his room and buried his blushing face in the pillow. Ofcourse because he got a chance to at least be near Chay. But one thing that got him thinking, why did Chay want to ' get to know ' about that little bodyguard of his. It just pisses him off.
Another problem is Macau himself. Such an annoying brat.

Not too long after that all of the members were called out for lunch in their spacious dining hall. Let's say...it was peaceful.
Except : Kim hold his strong gaze at Chay who was ignoring his whole existence. Macau who was clingy towards Chay. And those couples. And Tankhun and Prapai whinning at the same time. Mr.Theerapanyakun who was just used to it.
All in all, it was just their way of " family time "

Time skip...Evening

So their plan got canceled the last minute. There is an emergency attack from some opposite gang and Kinn and Porsche went there to handle it. Vegas and Mr.Theerapanyakun weren't at home and decided to join the former two if they needed backup.

Chay's POV

I sat in my bed. Reflecting all the things happened so far. Was I delulu or Phi Kim actually blushed when my Phi told him to join us.
" Oii Chay. " I snapped out my thoughts. It was my lovely best friend Macau. He kept whinning about how our plan got canceled. I know. I feel bad too.
" What else can we do naaa ? Phi warned us not to go anywhere. "
" Yeah yeah. But how about getting to know Ten ?"
" Idk. You insisted me to be friendly with him after knowing that we were schoolmates. "
" Chay. You're like very innocent my love." Cau patted my hair. Am I a baby or something?

There is a knock at the door followed a light cough. ( yes, it was fake )
I don't have to look at the door to know who that person might me. It's definitely Phi Kim. I can tell.
" Pete wants both of you downstairs now. At the dining hall. He made some snacks. Come quickly. "

I elbowed Cau. He understood it and said ," Okayy Phi. We'll come soon. Head downstairs first....Also. can you please send Ten here ? "
I looked at Phi Kim. He didn't bother to ask why, just a little hum and he went away.
Cau got up from the bed and headed outta the room. " I'll be downstairs then. Join me when you're done."

I saw him leaving the room. I paused a bit. I'm still soo much in love with him ? Aren't I?
I heard another knock and knew who it was . " Come in Ten."

Author's POV

Ten entred the room.
" Yes Master Porchay ? Do you need something?"
Chay looked at him, almost unbelievably. " Didn't I tell you to stop calling me that ? Ten, we're of the same age. Just call me Chay naa."
Although Ten seems hesitated by the idea he nodded. " Okay..Chay."
Chay smiled at him and said ," That's better. Actually I called you to say sorry."
Ten looked surprised. " What ? I mean why are you sorry ?"
" Because we couldn't go today? I know it was a good opportunity to get to know each other better but-"
Chay stopped talking as he heard light giggles. It was Ten.

Both  shared some smiles and Ten said that Chay didn't have to feel sorry about something like that. Honestly, if it's about friendship. No sorry nor thanks.

A few minutes passed and they went downstairs where Macau, Pete and Kim were chatting .
Pete noticed them first and asked what took them so long. Ten casually excused himself as he didn't want to interfere in the family business.
Chay shrugged his shoulder as nothing making Macau smile a bit and leaving Kim more frustrated than he already was.
Chay finally asked about the emergency of Kinn and Porsche. Before Pete could say anything, Kim said," A few days ago me and dad were in NY dealing with other mafias. One from Philippines was going against us. We already predicted damages but didn't expect it to be like that."
Pete nodded, " Yes. That's why Kinn, Porsche and Vegas went to a private land owned by our family. There is an attack. "
" But why didn't you two go ?"
" Dad is in charge of backup. Pete has to stay to look after the kids. And I'm here to protect 2 other kids."

Macau jumped from his seat and said ," We're not kids Phi."
Kim just rolled his eyes and continued eating the snacks which Pete made. Chay chuckled at their interaction. Little did he know how flustered Kim became because of this.

Throughout this whole time they chatted like normal. But a spark of tension was in the air. Kim and Chay kept making eye contacts. Sometimes Kim would be blushing, something Chay would get shivers down his spine.
Suddenly two crying voices could be heard. Pete didn't even hesitate to leave his cooking and run towards the room. They were Venice and Prapai. Both 3 years old, sharing the same brain cells.

Macau took the opportunity and dialed a number and went outside, leaving KimChay alone. It was awkward for them, yes.
Until Kim decided to be brave and started the conversation.
K : So. Gow are you Porchay ?
P : oh..phi. I'm doing very well. H-how are you ?( shit. Did I just shutter)
K : ( he shuttered, that's adorable) I'm also doing good. Are you still a student?
P : Not really. I've graduated. Now I'm looking for some type of job I guess.
K : oh.
...
...
P : Do you still write songs Phi ?
K : Yeah I do. Actually I was off for a few months. I was recovering from an accident.
P : What ? You got into an accident?

Chay moved closer to take a good look at his Phi.
K : Uhmm..
P : Ohh. I'm sorry Phi. Sorry for making you uncomfortable.
Chay was about to move away but his wrist was gripped by a strong arm. One push and he spinned and landed on Kim's lap.

Chay was about to say something but was stopped as Kim put his index finger on his lips.
" Chay. Did you miss me ?"
Chay was completely speechless. More like shocked and emotional at the same time. He didn't know what to feel nor to expect from this.
" It's okay. You don't have to answer. Do you know why ?"
" W-why ?"
" I can see it in your eyes dummy. Since I've came here all you do is avoid my gaze. And everytime we make eye contacts, all I can see is our past memories. "
Chay was a blushing mess.
" It won't happen again Phi. It's not meant to happen in anyways. "
Chay looked down. But his face was immediately pulled up by Kim who softly hold his chin.
" Look at me love. I know what I did was wrong. Can you give me another chance ? Please love ." It was as if Kim is pleading for another chance.

Chay didn't know how to feel about this. Suddenly he felt the grip loosen and he got up from his lap. He didn't understand why Kim let go off him after such heartfelt moment, until he turned around and saw Pete coming.
Ofcourse our super smart Kim saw his shadow.

They greeted each other with smiles and Pete headed straight to the kitchen again.
Kim then stood up and was about to leave the room. He patted Chay's head and whispered ," Don't take pressure love. Take your time. Let me know tomorrow at evening. Take care. "

....
....

It was past 10 PM. All of them had dinner except Kim who was nowhere to be seen . Others didn't return yet.

Chay was in his room, laying on his bed. He thought about evening's incident. Which gave him mixed feelings. He didn't know what to do and for God's sake, this man couldn't even sleep. It was almost 11.50 as he fell into deep slumber.
