Chapter 7

Continuing ~

Author's POV

It is currently 20.30 PM. They've reached Italy. Vegas , Kim and Sam have already done the checkouts and now they are heading outside the airport. As they went towards the gate , they were greeted by a group of men, leading by a charming man. He was dressed in black coat with his hair styled in a gracious manner.

Vegas went forward and greeted the man, " It's good to see you again, friend. "
The man also extended his hand and they had a handshake," You too Vegas. 6 years passed already.
Vegas nodded with a slight smile and proceed to speak, " Meet my sister Sam Theerapanyakun and younger cousin Kim Kimhan Theerapanyakun. Guys, meet Vincenzo Cassano. "

Kim's eyes widen hearing this name. So this was the man who is rulling over South Korea with his brother.

Kim extended his hand for a handshake as well and Sam just nodded.
They got into the car and left for Vincenzo's Mansion.  When they reached there it was 22.00 PM. The Mansion was out of the city and in a really quite place. But, the outlook of it was spacious, something a mafia would have.
As they entered the Mansion, they were shown their assigned rooms. All three got fresh and came down to eat dinner around 23.00 PM.

They were kind of surprised to see that Vincenzo wasn't present in the dining room. The handmaid told them to eat regardless. At first they were a bit hesitating but Vegas told them it was okay.

Vegas and Vincenzo have been friends for a while now. More than 11 years, not a joke.

" I have something to say .", Vegas spoke after taking his last bite.
Both Kim and Sam glanced at him.
Vegas continued.
" We will talk to Vincenzo tomorrow. Kinn will also join via vodeo call. Go to your room after dinner and take rest. "
The younger ones nodded.

And as said Kim was going to his room. He felt a tuck on his hand and it was Sam.
" Phi ? Can I go to your room ?"
Kim couldn't help but smile at his cousin's reaction. He also needed someone to talk about Chay. So he agreed.

On the other hand...

Vegas took a walk outside after dinner. It is now a habit for him, a good one on top of that. Usually at his home, he and Pete walk around after Venice falls asleep.
He looked around the mansion and he finds it utterly beautiful. Then he saw someone, sitting on a chair by the pool and looking up at the sky.

Vegas took a closer look," Joo Hyung ? "
The man looked at him and warmly smiled.
" Vegas ? What a surprise. What are you doing here at this hour ?"
" I should be asking that. Well, it's a habit. Got it from my wife."

Vincenzo smiled hearing that.
" Right right."
" What about you ? Thinking about Cha Young and Nam Ra ?" , Vegas said as he took a seat beside Vincenzo.

" They are all I have Vegas. Come to think of it, what about Pete and your son ?"
" They are doing pretty well. Pete seems always exhausted because of Venice. "

They both laughed and talked about pretty much everything. All this interaction was seen by Sam, who was standing in the balcony of Kim's room. She turned around and sighed. Not knowing what to say after hearing everything from Kim.

Sam's POV

After hearing everything from Phi Kim, I can't help but think what is possibly going on with Chay. Poor guy must be in shock. And even for Kimhan, the emotionless man.

Sigh.
" Phi ? Have you tried contacting him ?"
He looked at me and shook his head as a ' no '.

" What ? Why ? Atleast text him ."
" I can't Sam, although I want to. I don't want him to feel pressured. Who knows he might be angry with me. After all I left him again."
... " Phi, I understand how miserable you are feeling currently.  But please, being quite won't help. Communication is the key, remember?"
