Parrish stirred as he heard arguing. He could hear two voices despite his semi-conscious state. Eventually, his eyes open and he could make out two blurry figures before him. He blinked a couple of times to adjust his sight and found Ashley struggling with a hooded figure.

"How-How did you get here?" Ashley questioned, fear slipping into her voice.

"Well," Hades, the man in the hood, tilted his head towards Parrish. "I had my loyal dog lead me here."

Despite Jordan Parrish helping Ashley, he was still the Helhound, the loyal Cerberus, guard dog of the Underworld.

"Wh-Why are you here?" Ashley clutched her hand to stop herself from trembling in his presence.

"I thought that would be obvious." He spoke as he walked towards her. "I've come to take you home."

His hand reached for her face but she pulled away. The nearness of his touch making her shiver.

Hades frowned at her reaction and her next words made him even more perplexed.

"I am home. I'm not going with you."

Hades paused, choosing his words carefully.

"Your place is with me. You and I have been fated together even before we were born. We were born for each other."

Ashley shook her head, refusing to accept the man's words.

"Cara." He pleaded.

Jordan's immediate instinct was to step in and save Ashley but his weakened body won't allow it. He grimaced as he attempted to move his hands and feet. Ashley's agitated voice pushing him to try harder until finally his fingers started to move. He could feel a sensation of fire moving from his fingertips to his arms and all over his body. This was the same feeling he had before only this time, he felt in control.

When he finally had control, he pulled Hades off Ashley and took a protective stance over the girl.

Hades snapped his face towards him in anger.

"You." He growled towards Parrish.

The Helhound responded by marching towards him and throwing a punch. Hades blocked him easily and with a wave of his hand, caused Parrish to fly across the room. Undeterred, Parrish came at him again. Once again, Hades overpowered the man and flung him towards the wall.

Ashley rushed to his side, worried about her friend. The moment she touched him though, something particular happened.

Parrish's eyes glowed and he was engulfed in bluish flames. He stood up feeling a different kind of power course through his veins. He stepped towards Hades once more, leaving behind footprints of flames in his trail.

Later, they would find out that the blood of Underworld royalty also flowed through Ashley. Because she was the daughter of the previous incarnation of Hades, she had the Helhound's loyalty and had authority over his powers as well.

The Helhound attacked Hades only this time, both were on equal footing. Both fought fiercely against each other, neither one relenting, neither one gaining the upper hand. In their exchange, they failed to notice Parrish had caused an accidental fire with his powers. Both were oblivious to the fire that was growing and surrounding them. Both creatures were too intent on winning the fight.

On the other hand, Ashley sat on the floor paralyzed with fear. The sight of the fire had triggered something within her as she recalled a memory of a flaming house and the smell of people burning. She had tried to leave but her body refused to move. Her very knees gave out on her and caused her to collapse to the ground.

Panic started to set in, making her irrational. Her eyes wandered around the room and her breathing became haphazard. If only she would stop to think, she would realize there was an easy solution. That all her fears were simply in her head.

With the fire and fighting intensifying, so did Ashley's fear and as it did, a rush of memories came to mind.

The Hale house on fire.

The darach and Derek.

Peter's confession.

Stepping into the portal.

Ashley's eyes widened as she snapped back to reality.

She remembered. She remembered everything.
