"Where are my earrings?" I asked moving out of the closet of Vansh's room.
I have started getting ready for the reception which is going to start in two hours but I couldn't find my earrings anywhere. We arrived here about six hours before and I thought to set my stuff in the closet later or maybe tomorrow as today is going to be a long day, so I had not touched my bags.
That means my earrings were in my bag but they are not there anymore and I have tried to find them everywhere even though it was not necessary because they won't go anywhere on their own.
I have not touched them and I'm so sure that I have not left them in Udaipur too so it is Vansh who stole my earrings.
"How will I know anything about your earring?" he looked up from the laptop he was working on while sitting on the couch. "And weren't you ignoring me?"
I never wanted to talk to him the same day after I told him that I'm going to ignore him but my missing earrings are important and they made me talk to HIM.
"I'm not talking to you. I'm asking you where my earrings are." I pointed my finger at him. "And don't play dumb, I know you hide them somewhere."
"And why would I hide your earrings?"
I think that he did it to get me to talk to himself but I'll never admit it. Maybe he will say that I'm delusional and maybe I am, but I am getting this feeling in my gut that he is the reason behind the kidnapping of my earrings.
"I don't know? Maybe, to try them when no one is looking?" I shrugged.
"When one of your things is captured by someone, you beg them to give it back meri biwi." he closed his laptop and looked at me with all of his attention while I stood in front of the door of the closet.
"That means you stole them?" I asked, raising one eyebrow.
"No. I said that you should beg in front of the person who have your things"
"And you have my things?" he chuckled when I asked him the same question once again. 'Don't laugh and tell me where my earrings are?"
"Have you looked for your heels and shoes?"
I raised an eyebrow on his statement and kept looking at him while standing on the same spot for a second before walking inside the closet, to look for my heels and shoes which I have kept in the separate suitcase.
"The Vansh Suryavanshi have a kink for hiding people's stuff?" I came out of the closet after not finding my heels and shoes in the suitcase I put them in. I supported my weight against the wall next to the door of the closet. "What will you take to return my earrings, shoes and heels, butterfly?"
"A kiss." He stood up and came in front of me. "In front of everyone. In our reception."
"You have gone crazy if you think I will kiss you. And that too in front of everyone."
